● Aztronouth (also known as Oortfunk) is an electronic music artist and DJ from the Netherlands, active for more than 20 years. He is the founder of Mechanism, a long-running Amsterdam event series dedicated to Detroit techno and electro.

As Aztronouth, he produces futuristic electro and techno, while under his alias Oortfunk he explores downtempo synth-funk and experimental sounds. His music reflects strong influences from hip-hop, disco, Detroit techno, and hi-tek soul, blending them into a distinctive style.

He is part of Waveform Syndicate [LIVE] (with Luus and Machinefunk) and has released music on respected labels such as CyberDomain, Boomstraat1818, Connectome Records, Abstract Rhythm, and Space Is The Place.
