Playground Records is psyched to present the very first release from Vilnius based producer Monk Ernie, ‘Invisible Pink’. A six hook-filled jams that will take you to the depths of Baltic Post Funk.
The original tracks are as catchy as they are groovy, incorporating influences from all around the world. Psychedelic party music, safari disco madness, fake ritual gurus, driven rubbery bass lines and weird tones. A solid pack with a high quality organic instrumentation to rock the dancefloor. Mid tempo electronic funk from outer space, all 100% playable.
On the remix side, Tel Aviv producer Uriah Klapter delivers a reinterpretation of ‘Invisible Pink’ perfect to be played on a beach at dawn; and Lassi International boss, the Argentinian SidiRum, does his magic on ‘The Lamp’.

For the same reasons, we have long watched the duo @PeanutsonKeto , known in our craft circles simply as Edvinas and Gytis, the curators of Sodo Reikalai night. 

After the slow wave of electronica that happened back in the middle of the last decade, the sound has remained relevant and confirmed that it was not some kind of herd yum or temporary fad. A very similar sound was shaped by the aforementioned Peanuts on Keto – everything came together in the second #WAVES. We’re glad that the gates of that secret garden sometimes open in Lizdas, and this time also in the mix. Let's wander.

We at Regulardisco love experiments. Even more, when we established a label, one of the ideas was to have Ukrainian musicians who normally work in completely different genres to try out making music in genres we promote: that's when something new is born. Therefore, when @symonenkomusic shared a recording of an unusual for him set, we immediately loved it. It has a vibe of the first years of formation existence. Vitalii shares more about the recording:
"Any path is merrier when the music is alongside. Music can both lift you up and bring you down to earth. For me, it's important to listen carefully to my inner musical desires along the way. Sometimes I gather many melodies that I wouldn't consider specifically for dancing in the first place, but later on turns out they actually were designed for dancing. This set is an example of such tunes."
