Dirigenta (Bulgarian word for conductor/maestro) has been obsessed with dance music since his young years growing up in Sofia. This passion led him to the studios of The National Television where he quickly gained professional knowledge and fell in love with all forms of sound engineering. 

At 15, Dirigenta got his first turntable deck and immediately began to spin at house parties until his move to the United States. By the time he reached 21, you could find him in the hottest house scenes with residencies at clubs such as ECCO, Playhouse, Cabana Club, Vanguard, to name a few.  Within just a few years, Dirigenta became one of the biggest names to hit the scene in Los Angeles. His name has now reached headline status and he currently has residencies with followers spanning from Eastern Europe to California.

Dirigenta is a trailblazer who has broken barriers at every turn. He has never been afraid to experiment with new sounds, new genres, new cities, and most importantly, new cultures. This has been self-evident throughout his career and it is still so today, as he presently collaborates with Myhell Enterprises for the hottest Balkan Sessions in Hollywood. 

Dirigenta is not just house, dubstep, or techno, but he encompasses all genres of the dance music phenomenon from Sofia. What he spins is not dictated by the industry and he believes that its standards are a hopelessly outdated way of seeing today’s cross-genre scene.
