Shabboo Harper began producing her works, including writing lyrics to hers and other musicians' songs, in 2016. She is the author of hundreds of texts and poems. In addition to her own productions [singles and EPs], released on prestigious labels, she also recorded and published some successful collaborative tracks, albums and unique remixes. The variety of genres is immense from Ambient, Chillout through Dark Techno, Hardcore, Witch House, Electronica, Progressive House, Psytrance and Downtempo. In all artistic projects she always uses her own vocals. Shabboo's favorite styles are: Ambient, Chillout, Neo Soul, Industrial, Experimental and Techno. Her creation is strongly associated with dark, gloomy soundscapes full of mystery and sensuality. Often enriched by captivating melodies and differently shaped background. Music inspires in its diversity, while lyrics encourage to deeper reflection...

I Was Introduced To #Techno In 1988 By A Friend That Called Me From Chicago And He Told Me A Guy Was Mixing 2 Songs At The Same Time On Two Turntables. He Was At A Party In The Basement And I Didn't Believe Him, So He Pointed The Phone Toward The Speaker And Let Me Hear For Myself. A Different Friend In Florida Introduced Me To Tampa's Rave Scene And I Fell In Love With The Atmosphere And People And Music, Such As #HouseMusic #BreakBeat, #TechHouse #Jungle #DnB & #Trance Then I Wanted To Produce Around '95 - '98, But That Never Happened. With a sound that is hypnotic, dark, and euphoric, D.J. MacIntyre is a champion of progressive electronic music in its varied forms.  His musical art is the synthesis of life experiences gathered during explorations of philosophy, Indian mythology, and winemaking.  Synthesizing musical elements is at the heart of the art of djing - the mix expressed reflects the mix within. 

Not only are MacIntyre’s dj sets borderless in scope, but so too are his productions, often incorporating various influences and stylistic blueprints.  As a producer and remixer, D.J. MacIntyre has, in a relatively short period, produced a substantial body of work, and is only gaining momentum with time.  His debut album, Tandava, planted his flag in the electronic music landscape, and subsequent releases have received acclaim from some of the world's most prominent djs, having been found up and down the Beatport charts.

Well-traveled as a dj, the Santa Barbara, California resident has performed worldwide - from Burning Man to Moscow, Playa del Carmen to Siberia - and all across the United States, including New York, Dallas, Oakland, and Los Angeles. He is equally at home in a dark basement club, as in an open-air festival.

D.J. MacIntyre also wears the hat of record label founder, having formed the boutique label SLC-6 Music with the mission of building artistic community through the release of top quality music from producers he meets on his journey.
