In 2021 Dirk Sid Eno and Karl West established a wholesome club experience with their open air venue „Der Geheime Garten“.
After a hedonistic summer full of amazing moments, they got together and created their associated label „Gartenmusik.“ The first release comes from Dirk Sid Eno himself and celebrates the club with a fiercy and powerful nu disco club anthem – „This Is Our Club“!
Bringing dreamy 90s synthlines together with energetic 80s drums, this track will surely conquer its way through europes dancefloors!

Vienna-based artist Michael René Sell created his 4-part music short film "Gerausch" in 2017, which reproduces Sell's personal experiences in the years 2010 - 2017 with stylistic elements of pop music. A time in which Western hedonism and the decadence associated with it were radically ended, regardless of body, soul and environment. Gerausch tells of the five pillars of identity (values, corporeality, material security, social network, work and performance), the collapse of the last four and the breaking out of the lethargy of nostalgia.

The third part of this cycle "Greta" he entrusted to the Cologne techno producer Dirk Sid Eno for a remix, who redesigned it in his very own way and thereby reduced it to the essentials. The new version was again for Sell occasion to further develop the original video for Greta in relation to Eno's remix and to free it from the corset of the music short film. The result is a musical visual dialogue between two artists about the mystery of the past without looking back.

Dirk Sid Eno on Dantze again. The new EP called 'Elysium' is a melody driven listening experience. 'Maafushi' is the first track and does at first captivate with its ethnic touch but shifts the emphasis on the big going melody. 'Tamarindo' in the vocal version is the most catchy track due to the deep but very rhythmic groove - clearly a pleasure designed to take over your mind. The next one is 'Tortuguerro', which at first comes of very low-key and then turns into a percussion loving dancer. Finally did Dirk Sid Eno also add a Dub-Edit of 'Tamarindo' to present its greatness also in a more laid back version.

If you are into discerning sounds of the house and techno region you are more than likely familiar with Cologne based, Dirk Sid Eno. The ‘Durch Die Nacht’ co-founder has come into his own in recent years, providing his own personal twist on sound with his productions that can frequently be found nodding towards euphoric and melancholic atmospheres on labels such as Dantze or KATERMUKKE, where he released the 2020 Summer Hit „DANCE AGAIN“.
 
Simultaneously his versatile DJ sets have become somewhat of a topic, he has the raw ability to intricately diverse between genres allowing different vibes to conversate with each other concluding in a wholesome sound that he is fully invested in.  
 
If you want to target just one of the pivotal moments of his musical journey thus far, you would most likely start with his ‘Morgens in Odonien’ EP, the change in momentum for Dirk as he landed this essential EP. Since the release in 2015 he has only accelerated in an upwards motion, showcasing his sound at the likes of Katzensprung Festival and Danish underground hub, ‘Ved Siden Af’, as well as Swiss very own Klaus and HIve for example.
 
Since its launch in 2018 ‘Durch Die Nacht’ has proudly settled itself firmly amongst the circuit in Cologne and beyond, leading the way for international, high quality bookings such as Magda, Paul Woolford, Robag Wruhme and more.

An ever evolving mixed bag with Sid Eno, which is notably, if not, THE, underlying factor of why his fan base continues to grow, it is hard not to establish a fond connection with this character. It is his attention to detail that remains consistent, whether this is sampling sounds from his extensive world travels, or constructing a mood to mirror a pure reflection of a certain time or place; listening to his music is like a painting or a movie in the form of sound and you can “never leave until the lights come on”.
