Dirt is a grind-noise band formed in 2015 “from/against/in” the social dullness and the urban alienation of Padova, Italy.  
The line-up consists of four members: Enrico (voice), Andrea (guitar), Marco (bass) and Manuel (drums).  The outrageous diversity of the members’ musical backgrounds and militancies goes from black and doom metal to crust, power violence, horror punk and fast hc, all rooted in the late 90s and early 2000s tradition and local scene. This is why defining the band’s sound can be on one side complex. On the other the band does not sound complex at all. Dirt are indeed focused on relatively simple guitar riffs and stunning feedbacks,  distorted bass lines, mixed with chaotic blast beats and screaming growls. In spite of the Italian Republic celebrations, their first D.I.Y. EP was recorded in an almost “one-shot-one-kill” session on June 2th 2015, with the title “Dictaterritories”. The band is currently set on new material and gigs. If you can sing it, it’s not Dirt. Do it in the Dirt.
