a Force is Ariel Engle, vocalist and newest member of Broken Social Scene, whose acclaimed 2017 album Hug of Thunder is marked by her enchanting lead vocals on "Stay Happy" and "Gonna Get Better." The music of La Force is nocturnal pop, layering seductive melodies over restrained electronics, lead beautifully by Engle's undeniable voice. Shaped with Warren Spicer of Plants & Animals, and featuring members of Suuns, Patrick Watson, and Broken Social Scene, first single "You Amaze Me" – a love song to husband and bandmate Andrew Whiteman –defines the tender but powerful essence of La Force. After releasing a first single "Satisfy Me" on Shiny Disco Club, Tempogeist now present their very first EP "Transatlantic. 
Through this EP, Tempogeist show their talent for songwriting and composition by taking you into a disco-pop journey between the two great continents. 
But the strength of this release also relies on its remixes. Prometones (who you all knew under the name "Kido Yoji" until now) comes with an incredibly funky remix. Rogue Vogue re-invents the track completely by making it club friendly and taking us back to 90's house. Finally Satin Jackets brings his very personal touch and makes a sweet and slow version of "Hold On".
