The florentine duo Wooden Crate composed by Davide Rosafio (Florence) and Giuseppe Gonzalez (Bogotà) born in 2011 into the prolific musical underground scene of Florence. Since they was young both of them develop a great passion for music and a strong interest for the world of clubbing.

After some years of experience in the most popular clubs of Florence (Tenax, tabasco, Club 999, Viper, Bahia, Frau etc.), they decide to join forces to work hard in studio, so they create and improve their musical line, which goes from the most deep Dub to an hot and sinuous Techno of Detroit passing from a rough and cold kind of Techno. Thanks to this accurate analysis and research, they characterize their sets with a large techno stamp, always improving their method and becoming one of the most popular djs in their city.

Thanks to their diligence and thanks to their participation into all the most important tuscany parties, they get in touch with many promoters and artists, among which Alen Sforzina. Began a very great friendship with him, he helps Wooden Crate in music production.


In 2013 they come out and produce their first Ep "Sublimate" on Arts, so they belong part of the this Label, as Mark Broom, Terrence Dixon,Jonas Kopp, Emmanuel and many other artists. Now they are waiting for the second out Ep on an important and techno label. In 2013 they perform with their first live at Tabasco (Florence) playing music with analogic and digital instruments.

During 2012 they start to develop their personal project: "Cosmic" and they make lots of wonderful and followed parties giving importance to musical research, visual arts etc. All this elements give life to a big open air party, situated in a geen park named "Villa Montalvo", near Florence which every years achieves a resounding success. (over 6000 people in 2014).

In 2015 they had a lot satisfactions that reinforce them presence on the dance floors. They are called to play in an underground party in Berlin, then around Italy, like Afro Bar in Catania, Guendalina in the Village at Aiezzo and many other gigs in Tuscany. Furthermore they had the success confirm of Cosmic Open Air in Villa Montalvo with more than 10’000 people involved. Also enter part of another label, dirty session records of Luca bear. From here borns also them residency at Nextech Festival in Florence, one of the most important festival of Tuscany, that place in the historical venue of Fortezza da Basso.

It’s time for another dirties collection of tracks! This release touches all the shades of techno music. E-dward! with his Tool give us a groovy and percussive track with a touch from the early 90’s. Distance of Iuly. B passes through dub sounds to melodical pauses with a massive snare loop. After some releases, Luca Bear returns on his label with a strong track…Dirtiest, more than all the other. Italian born, Berlin based Luca Albano aka Weg began his musical journey releasing his first EP on vinyl back in 2006. Since then he started djing around clubs and parties in his native home Rome spreading step by step all over Europe.

In 2010, after releasing another record on Italian legendary Dj Ralf’s label LaTerra, he moved to Berlin, following the steps of the liberal city and the Electronic music scene.. In a short period he was playing around in respected clubs such as Bar25, Golden Gate, Ritter Butzke and a residency in Tresor came up.

His debut album “Honey” comes in 2011 on Rumenian Cimelde Records and brings him to travel more, discovering new directions and inspirations.

In 2012 he started a live-set project together with Flora Päär, deepening his sound and mixing melodies with live vocals on minimal grooves. After releasing “Altair Ep” on Escapism Records, his name started to tour around bringing them to festivals and clubs all over Europe.. Lazy Sunday Festival and All We Want in Amsterdam, KaterHolzig, Arena Club and Sisyphos in Berlin, Sonar in Barcelona sharing the decks with Luna City Express, Onur Özer, Red Robin, Makam and many more..

Then, Luca decided to go back developing his own sound, a fresh one full of pulsating vibes and hypnotic grooves, that are also the recipes for Luca’s favourite sets.

Since October 2013 he started to play with the Serialism crew together with Cesare vs Disorder, Quenum, San Proper, Konrad Black, Dj Ralf, Carola Pisaturo, Loquace and fellow friend Salvo Castelli and, inspired by the new environment he prepared his first ep for the label under the new alias Weg.

Currently, besides studio work and constant gigs all over Europe, he is collaborating with Italian dj/producer Marco Effe on a new party and concept called Impress at Watergate Club, Berlin.
