The fast-rising duo Maur get set to make their Sola debut this September with the exhilarating peak-time track Set You Free.

'Set you Free is one of about 10 original tracks we wrote at the start of 2020. We wanted to start working on some more melodic material and this one just felt right from the very beginning. We then sent it to Hannah (Faber) to work on the vocal which we co-wrote together & the outcome is very exciting!' - Maur

British duo Maur have pure finesse when it comes to their newest production. Set You Free cuts right to the chase, with an immediate euphoric melody which is overlaid with a powerful bass and catchy snares. After the first breakdown, you’re introduced to the vocal hook, which dominates the track with a fierce female lead who cries out “I really want to feel you next to me… because you’re always on my mind” creating a sense of longing which then swiftly builds to a crescendo of ecstasy.

Maur was formed by British pair Dan Clare and Dylan May in 2015. Both established DJ’s, they soon began creating the energetic and melodic sounds they have become known for playing out. After several years of releasing music, in the past nine months they have gathered a thundering momentum with break-through releases on labels such as SOLA, CR2, ViVA Music and W&O Street tracks. They also released on club night Mixology’s imprint MXO Records a track titled ‘Gospel Man’, which was heavily supported on dance floors and radio shows across the world.

Fast rising Toolroom star Maxinne promises to make 2021 her best year yet, with her latest single ‘Tell Me Something which lands as a collaboration with the super talented Lauren L’aimant. Maxinne is a firm Toolroom favourite who has been turning heads in the electronic dance scene, garnering support from Annie Mac, Eats Everything, Hot Since 82 and Toolroom’s own Mark Knight.

After being discovered through the #WeAreListening campaign held at Toolroom HQ, Maxinne signed ‘Too High For Love’ to Toolroom’s 2018 ‘Ibiza Vol. 2’ Compilation, as well as having two previous releases on Knee Deep In Sound and a charity single with Kittball and she isn’t taking her foot off the gas anytime soon. Since signing to the label Maxinne has grown considerably as an artist, releasing a string of hits such as ‘Want You To Know (feat. Mizbee)’ and ‘One I Want’ on the ‘House Party Vol.4’ Compilation, as well as ‘Get Up’ released on the Toolroom Trax underground imprint.
Going from strength to strength, ‘Tell Me Something’ is Maxinne’s strongest release yet, featuring the talented Lauren L’Aimant, an impressive vocalist and artist in her own right having performed alongside established acts Icarus and Rüfüs Du Sol. Together, Maxinne and Lauren have created something special with ‘Tell Me Something’, as bittersweet vocal cuts roll throughout the track, they’re grounded by a chunky, energetic groove.

‘Tell Me Something’ is a deeper cut than what you would expect from a typical Maxinne record, a progressive track which stands out as an instant club banger, itching to get blasted through Ibiza main room speakers as the sun sets.

As Maxinne’s first release of 2021, ‘Tell Me Something’ solidifies her reputation as one of Toolroom’s most exciting artists, a stand–out name on their roster and one to keep your eyes on. With her hotly anticipated debut album tipped to drop later this year, the skies the limit for Maxinne.
