First they had a feather fight. Then they did what’s known in the industry as ‘the gettup’ and proceeded to tear a hole into 2013… Now San Fran / Bristol’s finest dynamic duo return with two more beastly jams. 

“Steven Jello” takes us on a deep journey into the groove space continuum. Boasting a strutting cosmic bassline, hypnotic percussion, weeping synth flurries and a timeless house vocal shot, it’s Justin and Eats at their most contemplative. Heads down, feet to the floor, get busy… We have no idea who Steven Jello is, but as he’s inspired a tribute like this, we’re already in love with the man. 

“Kong” is so monstrous it’ll have you climbing the nearest skyscraper for safety. You’ll be ducking from the groaning, moaning airplanes overhead. You’ll be air drumming to the gargantuan tub-thumping fills. You’ll be shaking your hairy booty to the snake-like percussion. You’ll be pounding your chest to the rusty organ flourishes. You’ll be asking yourself… Where has this tune been all my life?!

Few co-lab projects resonate with such distinctive shared spirit and sonic camaraderie. It’s a shame Justin and Eats don’t live closer together or we’d have an entire album of this high calibre material by now.

We couldn't be happier and they couldn't be more adorable. CONGRATULATIONS Eats Everything, you deserve every happiness for the amazing music you bestow upon our airwaves.

Following acclaimed excursions on Hypercolour (‘Needs You EP’) and Will Saul’s Aus Music (‘Child EP’) last year, George FitzGerald is preparing to make his return to his Hotflush home for the first time since 2011. Premiering in FitzGerald’s debut Radio 1 Essential Mix last month as part of the ‘2013’s Future Stars’ series, ‘Thinking Of You’ is scheduled to drop as a Beaport exclusive on 18th March, with full physical release and accompanying tracks to follow in May.
 
Having displayed his innate understanding of how to craft a musical narrative with the Essential Mix, ‘Thinking Of You’ turns to the darker realms of the dance floor imbued with the same kind of precision-tooled grooves, nuanced melodic touch and emotive shades that have garnered him such praise in the past.
 
The last twelve months have been extremely busy for FitzGerald as he continues to capture the attention of industry heads and fans alike with his refined and emotive homegrown club music. Releasing music on his regular home Hotflush, as well as Will Saul’s Aus Music imprint and the acclaimed Hypercolour stable, not to mention his own burgeoning ManMakeMusic imprint, FitzGerald's flourishing discography continues to grow steadily but impeccably.

You know Dirtybird for dropping basslines and creating smiles on the dance floor since January 2005.

The fun family vibe of the Dirtybird label can be traced back to a free event started in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco. This new kind of house music went against the smooth vocal house that was popular at the time and derived its influences mostly from hip-hop, drum n bass, and American funk. The free outdoor BBQ party was very rough around the edges but eventually became legendary amongst the people of San Francisco. This event was also a very influential factor in the decision by Claude VonStroke to start the record label in 2005.

Today, Dirtybird has offices in San Francisco and Los Angeles and has expanded into events and tour production. As it grows, the brand continues to expand beyond music into merchandise, licensing and artist management. In 2015, Dirtybird launched the inaugural Dirtybird Campout festival, which has been dubbed “Summer Camp For Adults”, and Dirtybird has been recognized from their achievements by being awarded "Underground Label of the Year" at the International Dance Music Awards, “Label of the Decade” by Mixmag, “Best North American Label” by DJ Mag, and Billboard’s "Top 5 Independent Dance Labels".
