Manchester Based artist Concierge orchestrates just over an hours’ worth of carefully picked out Techno, an incandescent love for an extremely broad genre create a variety of moods, grooves and styles to explore. 

Concierge ultimately has refined his mix to the tracks with key elements that have captivated over his years spent collecting and playing live. This mix encompasses the sounds currently influencing his taste with rhythmic up-tempo grooves and a nod firmly towards the 90s hardgroove sound.

[MND] is an empirical DJ who began his musical process a few years ago developing into fast, hypno, groovy and energetic sounds. With a great love and a big focus on small talents , he keept inspiring with some of their ideas through mixing, and sharing the atmosphere of mixing in a space of introspection and completely loaded with energy.

Enjoying his love for music and bringing another musical conception through an empirical approach immersing unexpected transitions in irregular sounds.

Welcome to DRR Podcast 102, this week we are pleased to present Dorbachov,

Dorbachov is Damien O’Reilly, a London based Techno DJ and Producer from Northern Ireland.  Damien’s musical journey began from listening to hardcore and techno cassette tapes in the Northern Irish countryside throughout the 90s, to becoming a regular across Ulster’s quickly emerging rave scene.  Bitten by the bug, Damien knew he needed to be on the other side of the DJ booth - ‘Dorbachov’ was born. 
 
Several bookings followed and, with his ‘90s influence clearly evident in his sets, it wasn’t long before he was offered a residency at the Dublin hotspot ‘So Loco’.  

After a move to London, Dorbachov changed his focus and direction to the studio.  Heavily immersing himself into production, he realised his true potential in formulating clever and energetic live sets.  His vocational background was electrical engineering and this is clearly evident in his industrial and calculated sound that would not be a stranger in the clubs of Berlin. 
 
Dorbachov’s next move was to present his releases to a wider audience.  His debut track releasing on the rising label ‘Haute’ in 2012.  Several further releases followed on favoured labels such as Clutch Trax, Renesanz, Terminus Audio, and Gobsmacked.
 
In 2015 Dorbachov set up ‘Carbyne Records’ and released his own album ‘Free State Propaganda’ on the imprint with solid reviews including an interview in Ireland’s ’Hot Press’ magazine.
 
It was in 2016 that Dorbachov moved into the niche area of Live Modular sets.  He took these sets and effortlessly formulated them into tracks which were quickly picked up by several reputable labels including Distrackt, Wunderblock, UKR Special series, and Room 2.  Dorbachov’s talents in the studio have also spread into publishing with a remix for Channel 4’s acclaimed cult-series ‘Utopia’. 

Dorbachov has made a steady return to playing out, with both his Live Hardware and DJ sets of engaging, intelligent heavyweight techno gaining popularity, with bookings across the UK including North London techno institution ‘The Cause’. 

In 2019 Damien launched his ‘Carbyne Live Transmissions’ Radio Show.  This has given him an outlet to showcase not only his own talent and personality, but an opportunity to showcase the talents of guests from around the world. 
 
 
It has been a real show of restraint and maturity to enter the industry in the route that he has.  Letting his music speak foremost, it is this that has rightly opened the door.  With an ever busy release schedule, it is guaranteed to be another huge year for Dorbachov.

DRR Podcast 102 - Dorbachov

Madrid roots, now based in Berlin, Sara alias FLDS defines herself as a lover of good music and good work. She started supporting the scene at a very young age, learning from many artists and evolving over and over until she became the artist she is today.

In the last years FLDS had the chance to play at some really exciting parties and regular slots at Suicide Club in Berlin, where she also host 'UN Club', an event series focused on what matters most, music and freedom.

In this set recorded for us she dig through her wax collection delivering an hour of old school, funky yet tribal techno blends. Vinyl only as we like!

EXTEND welcomes aboard the Swiss/Italian DJ and producer Aeschlimann, one of the mature young artist that emerge out from the Swiss techno scene.

Founder of Insieme Records with two self-release, in the last years Aeschlimann had the chance to organize his own events in Switzerland and gained a residency at Pan club in Hannover.

Aeschlimann's mix showcase his sound for techno, moving the cursor from immersive post-industrial scapes to club-oriented, groovy gems.

Dirty Epic welcomes @cressida for its fifty first episode of Amplify Series.

Born in the UK and based in Berlin, Cressida’s sound is a cross-pollination of these two sonic spectrums - the rhythmic, dystopian force of Techno fused with a sound embedded in various points of the UK Hardcore Continuum

Cressida marked his first release “Salvation“ EP on Nur Jaber’s OSF label and tracks on compilations for both Dax J’s Monnom Black and Mord in 2018. After two more EPs on Voitax he contributed a track to the Midnight Shift x Voitax collab LP in late 2020. Far from going unnoticed, his work has been heralded by luminary artists such as Dax J, Paula Temple, Rebekah, FJAAK to name a few.

His performances have gathered at an even faster pace with shows in North America, Asia and across Europe, plus key appearances at institutions like Tresor, Berghain’s Säule, //about:blank and Griessmuehle in his adopted hometown. He has also made key contributions to renowned mix series such as HATE & Groove Magazine as well as appearing on the mighty RinseFM, amongst many others.

Our third guest of a podcast is @samjeffery1 with proper journey, delivering over 2 hours of trippy soundscapes and psychedelic rhythms.

Bio:
22 year old Sam Jeffery (SJ) is the co-founder of Manchester based collective, Framework.  Having founded in 2019, they have gone on to host nights with the likes of Rene Wise, Yant, Jay Clarke, and Habgud, with a pending rescheduled date for Quelza in 2023. 

Whilst their podcast series has seen them release mixes from established artists such as Border One, Decka, Jeroen Search, Staffan Linzatti, Marcelo Antonio, Decoder, Benales and Max Watts amongst others. 

He withholds a broad taste spanning across the many facets of the electronic music spectrum, drawing inspiration from different corners of various genres. His main passion lies within the field of mental/hypnotic/deep techno, with artists such as DVS1, Oscar Mulero, Kaiser, DJ Nobu, Amotik and Deano being significant sources of inspiration for him. Within his own mixes he seeks to push the boundaries of music further towards introspection and mental experiences on the dance-floor, always chasing something deeper.
