Dirty Epic welcomes aboard Magdalena for its twelfth episode of Amplify Series.

With 18 years being part of the Latin American electronic scene, Magdalena has managed to build a career as an artist with firm foundations. DJ, producer, vocalist and label manager; This versatile artist breathes music into every pore of her skin. She was a resident of the La Sala, Cinema, Cha Cha and Lov club in Bogotá.
She has releases on Techsound, Business Class Records, We Love Bta, Inversion Records, Pz Records, Broken Mind Recordings, Panal Records, Alss, Al3movement, Illegal Alien, some remixes on Techsound, B55, Black Leather among others. In 2015, his first vinyl was released on the Broken Mind Recordings label. Desobiencia Civil includes a raw intro that reflects the social reality of the country, an original song, a remix by Myles Sergé and a dense and dark outro, the main theme of this album was played by Ben Sims in one of his podcasts in 2015. His production on PZ Records was remixed by Valentino Emme and Ilario Alicante, the remix of Ilario Alicante has been played by Slam, Rohad, among others.
The song You Should Come To Berlin He Said (WeLoveBta Rec) was played by Rebekah in the Essential Mix of 2017. In 2018 she released on BMR with the album “Straight Lines”, a new solo project under the name of Ana Gartner. Under this aka he has remixed Margarita Siempre Viva, No Hay Juventud, Estados Alterados, Sereno, among others. She released a first single in the company of Alex Bau for the Credo label, which led to an ep for International Deejay Gigolo. It was presented at the 2019 Altavoz festival, Semana de la Juventud, El Suiche, La Fresquera (musical space of the Moravia Cultural Center), at the Cometas y Techno Festival of Villa de Leyva, Antípoda and Club 303 in Bogotá. She has releases on Morfina Records, Discos Hechizos and a vinyl on BMR that features remixes by Faunes and Nausea.
She has played several times in Ecuador, was part of the Get Lost festival in Germany in 2017, at Arena club Berlin and on Melting Pot Radio. She has played in Guatemala, Peru with the Palestra collective. In Mexico, Chile, and in 2019 in New York in an OffBoiler made by the Unter collective and on The Lot Radio, and then again in 2021 with Taken.
Also played in Borderless Berlin, a live stream from Medellín to Ava Club in Berlin in 2021. 
She is currently in the process of producing her second album as Ana Gartner and the next physical release from BMR. She is the curator of KUBO STREAM Thursdays in which she also has a Desobediencia Civil show.

Amplify Series 20 - Magdalena

Dirty Epic welcomes aboard @dj-t-1000 for its fifty third episode of Amplify Series.

Detroit-born, Berlin-based Alan D. Oldham has been called "Detroit Techno's Renaissance Man" by Muzik Magazine (UK). Electronic musician, label owner, remixer, graphic illustrator, and international DJ, Oldham-under his stage name DJ T-1000-does it all.
A lifelong cartoonist and graphic designer, a young Oldham published his own indie comic book "Johnny Gambit" in 1987 to local notoriety. Hired that same year by his childhood friend Derrick May to illustrate several memorable pieces for his new Transmat label, this led to Oldham's very first involvement in the fledgling techno scene. More art requests quickly followed, most famously from the Djax-Up-Beats label (NL), where his art took center stage for many years (the lone EP that Oldham produced for Djax, under the name Signal To Noise Ratio, brought home a 1991 Detroit Metro Times Music Award for best single in "Detroit Is Burning"). At the same time, college-student Oldham was hired at local radio station WDET, hosting Detroit's first-ever all-electronic radio program, "Fast Forward," introducing artists like UR, Richie Hawtin and Carl Craig to local airwaves.

Five years later, Oldham found himself under the tutelage of UR's Mad Mike Banks. Initially hired as UR's "Minister of Information," working side-by-side with Rob Hood and others in the office, Oldham was eventually tapped to replace his departing friend Jeff Mills as DJ on UR's world tour (quitting WDET in the process), and DJ T-1000 (and his label Generator, distributed by Submerge) was born. Big shoes to fill, but he was up to the task. For a year afterwards, Oldham toured with Banks in the UR techno boot camp. Since those long-ago days, a solo Oldham continues to rock crowds in Berlin (with an unofficial residency at Tresor), Milan, Barcelona (unofficial residency at Moog), Madrid, London, Tel Aviv, Tokyo and all points in between with his own no-nonsense brand of bangin', funky-ass techno. When DJ T-1000 is on the flyer, fans know he's bringing the ruckus.

In 2004, Oldham finally left a flagging Motor City for the Midwest boomtown of Chicago. And in 2005 he finally established his permanent European base in the world's latest electronic music capital, Berlin.

When he's not behind the decks or in the studio producing electronic dance music for labels like Tresor Berlin, Inzec (CH), Minimalsoul (CH), or his own Pure Sonik and Generator imprints, Oldham has provided artwork for the electronic music industry for almost 20 years. Also, his drawings and large-scale paintings have been on display in art galleries in Chicago, Berlin, Paris, Los Angeles, and most recently a sold-out opening in Amsterdam.

Puritan is Tbilisi-based Techno project of David Japaridze, head of Murder Tbilisi imprint.

David Japaridze is someone who has been deeply involved with music for many years in various ways - Gaining his first credits in Tbilisi’s underground where he experienced the rise of Georgian Techno scene at a very young age. DJ-ing and producing since then, the artist decided to take things seriously and started to carve his own path with founding his own imprint - Murder Tbilisi. His vision and ideas led him to work with some of the most respected names in the industry, such as: Orphx, Terence Fixmer, Justin K Broadrick, Silent Servant, Ron Morelli, Reeko, Phase Fatale & Pablo Bozzi as Soft Crash and many more. 

Whether as a solo artist or as a head of vital Murder Tbilisi imprint, Puritan made a name for himself as a music selector that crosses genre boundaries with ease. With hand-picked selection and perfect blend of old and new, accompanied with precise mixing technique, Puritan’s sets always carry carefully narrated story that aims to bring you on the journey where you can lose or find yourself. The Georgian perfectly manages to drag his wide array of influences into one techno frame to create perfect soundtrack for the night with never losing the danceable dynamic. 
 
Puritan’s passion for old gems recently made him expand his musical world with ‘Puritan pres. Body Pressure’ project where he plays more soft, intimate sets with drawing inspiration from 80's & 90's EBM from Boy Records to the current new wave of Italo-Body Music. The moniker is home to the more explorative side of genres, such as: EBM, Italo, Electro, New Wave, Techno & other gems of untold sonic future. 

With deep knowledge of the past and distinct vision of future, Puritan’s body of work makes it clear that he has come to stay and is set to leave his trace on the modern electronic music scene.

Lisa is a Tokyo-based Japanese DJ who is passionate about pushing the boundaries of the techno and psychedelic music scenes both in Japan and Europe. She uses hypnotic techno music to access the subconsciousness of her audience, believing that music has a great power to positively affect their lives. Lisa's sets are characterized by their experimental elements and flow, which seek to take listeners on a higher journey. Her sound is influenced by past greats from a variety of genres, including her own philosophy of life. With her unique approach, listeners can expect to experience something fresh each time.

Salem Unsigned DJ & Producer from Lyon (FR). Resident of the 23:59 events collective and founder of Black Lab Events, his universe mixes mental techno and industrial techno, dark, spiritual and devastating.

Endlec is a Greek electronic musician, DJ, record producer, and label owner that has focused on techno since 2014.

Production-wise, in the last few years, Endlec (aka Tasos Andriotis) has released records on prolific labels such as Mord, Hex, Clergy, Children Of Tomorrow, Gen X, Analogue, Eternal Damnation, New Trax Imports, and his label, Renegade Methodz, that have established and solidified his name in the global techno scene.
With a style and sound that is characterised by gritty, mind-bending sounds, solid kicks, and a classy, innovative sonic palette, he has gained the respect of his peers and became influential by being totally true to himself.
As a DJ, Endlec is regularly touring abroad, mainly in Europe, presenting his perception of techno music which is always uncompromising, forward-thinking, and technically impeccable.

He also co-founded Unleash Your Energy, a series of events that have revitalised the techno parties scene in Thessaloniki hosting international heavyweights like Perc, AnD, Manni Dee, Scalameriya, KRTM, Tham, Acierate, Lorenzo Raganzini, The Brvtalist, Under Black Helmet but also turning the spotlight on up and coming artists such as Kalte Liebe, Melanie Havens, Vera Grace and crew members like KosmÃ¢ss, Celestia, Gaston NPR, HHxLT and Everlyn.
