Next up on Unmasked Discussion iS Cukier, founder and resident at Codeword, the techno series at Fold and monthly show on Threads radio.  As a DJ, Cukier is drawn to deep and transcendent sounds inspired by a blend of Berlin industrial-minimalism and more explorative, trippier soundscapes. 

As event curator, Cukier’s Codeword events have been praised for “expertly smudging the line between the emotive and dynamic”. With a focus on timeless and immersive techno, Codeword lineups have featured artists including Efdemin, Boris, Inigo Kennedy, Inland, Blind Observatory and Jamaica Suk. The event series is set to return to the dancefloor in 2022.

Dirty Epic welcomes aboard Pi Electronics and Modal Analysis label boss @alxp for its twenty-sixth episode of Amplify Series.

3.14 is the project of DJ and producer Alex π, hailing from Athens, Greece. Based in Berlin since 2013. His record labels Pi Electronics and Modal Analysis have played an important role in the development of the experimental techno sound coming out of Greece, through the discography and events of the labels in Berlin and Athens. His sound crosses over techno, breaks and club-oriented music with the aesthetics of the 80s: industrial, noise and sub-genres.

Artur Szatkowski - the person behind the moniker - is an up and coming  techno producer, but not a newbie to the scene overall. Going by Essence for over 20 years, he was a DJ and a promoter, responsible for hundreds of parties all over Poland. When he took some time off from party life back in 2018, he started learning production skills and currently he is focused on his own music, heavily inspired by his lifelong musical influences. 

Having released his first EP in late 2021 on International Day Off, Artur is now making his way back - releasing and performing as We Call It Voight-Kampff.

We Call It Voight-Kampff’s music was picked up by quite a few techno artists in their DJ sets - including Ben Sims (who also released a collaboration track between We Call It Voight-Kampff and Szmer on the latter’s EP on Symbolism), Dave Clarke, Rodhad, Kr!z, Doc Scott and Freddy K.

Melanias musical journey began back in 2014, when the young polish artist timidly tested out the waters of her local scene, slowly but surely finding not only her passion for DJing, but also her very own sound. Characterized by a mix of energetic techno, breakbeat, drum n bass and experimental, her eclectic sets tend to be on the heavier side of the sound spectrum, yet Melania is known for effortlesly crossing into other genres as well, routinely surprising her listeners with a sudden change of atmosphere. Above all else, Melania is focused on her own productions, which have been released on labels such as Aufnahme + Wiedergabe, Instruments of Discipline, Subsist Records and others and reflect her own dark musical visison. Now Melania plays gigs around the globe, next to hosting her own parties series VERZERRUNG in Poznan, Poland. This set is a testament to Melanias ingenuity, taking you down unexpected musical paths with unknown destinations.
