Pretty Girl

Dirty Frances is an indie rock band from Portland, Oregon.  The group is comprised of Alison Nichols, Tom Manning (The Banned), Max Rees (Towers and Hungers) and Stephen Weber (The Stamens and Weight Of Atlas).  The band has played with acts, such as, Neon Trees, Weight Of Atlas, Y La Bamba and Fistfight.  Erik Stromquist and Mark Brachmann produced the self-titled EP released by Institution Records.  

Dirty Frances sounds like Karen O., or Corin Tucker, fronting either The Stooges, or Mudhoney.  Ultimately DF is a post-alternative, post-metal exploration of genres and sound.  Dirty Frances is the remnants of seminal Portland-based, Pacific Northwest rock.
