BIO:

Dirty Tactix, better known as one half of Canadian Dubstep duo Orbatak, is a 29 year old DJ and Producer from Vancouver, BC, Canada. He has been DJing since 1999 and started producing music in 2001 but didn't get serious about it until 2006.

He has released to date tracks and remixes on Noctem Audio, Badman Digital, Betamorph Records, Dub Cartel, Hollow Point, Bass Punch Records, Stop/Start Records, Foulplay Dubstep and Dubstep Division Records.

During his time as a producer Dirty Tactix has been featured on many radio stations including BBC Radio One (Elite Force on Annie Nightingale's Show 2010), C89.5 Seattle on “The Afterparty” show, SubFM, FilthFM, Bassface Radio, DubstepFM, Afterdark Radio and more.

Dirty Tactix has remixed tracks for Mark Instinct, Envy (UK), Spektrum (UK), Heavy Deviance (UK), Don Goliath and appeared on EPs with Skism, Noah D, Lee Mortimer, Layo & Bushwacka! and Richie August to name a few. He has been remixed himself by DZ, Liquid Stranger, P0gman, D-Jahsta, End Boss and more which have been well received by DJs and punters alike.

In his 12 years in the scene Dirty Tactix has played gigs alongside some of the biggest names in the international EDM scene including Benga, Rusko, N-Type, Kill The Noise, Excision, Datsik, Downlink, Mark Instinct, Bassnectar, Freq Nasty, AC Slater, Jack Beats, DJ DeeKline, Vaski, Adroa, and many many more. 

His debut solo EP 'Insomnia' was released May 12th 2012 on Noctem Audio and was a featured Beatport Exclusive that reached a high of #28 on the Top 100 Dubstep Chart and #21 on the Top 100 D&B Chart and was on Pepsi's - Best New Dubstep Chart.
