R I T Z [@moritzjahnmusic, Berlin | GER] delivers a colourful blend of shimmering Disco grooves and deep, melodic House. His sets weave from sun-soaked, feel-good rhythms to hypnotic late-night journeys; the kind of sound that works just as well under an open festival sky as it does in an intimate club.
Recent appearances include Feel Festival, Woodlands in Hildesheim, and #31# in Berlin.
Under his real name Moritz Jahn, he has released the albums SOLILOQUY and SEI NICHT FREMD on Frische Luft, showcasing his versatility as a musician and storyteller.

The tempo drops. The air thickens. The journey slows—yet the pulse remains.

@ANNAWAFFEL is a Berlin-based DJ devoted to the slower side of electronic music. Her story began in 2018, stepping into the mighty Salon at Rummels Bucht and falling in love with the downtempo sound. After joining a FLINTA DJ course in 2019 and picking up her first controller, she began honing her craft—first in her bedroom, then on stage in 2021 as part of the DJ duo doktor:WAFFEL.

In recent years, @ANNAWAFFEL has embraced her solo path, shaping a style that is slow yet danceable—sometimes soft and dreamy, other times more powerful and edgy. Her sets weave together a spectrum of genres: funky grooves, classic downtempo, downpitched indie dance, acid touches, and guitar-laced melodies—always with a love for lyrics.

For this episode of In Circles, she delivers a deeply personal selection of her current downtempo favorites. Organic, flowing, and unhurried, the mix gradually builds in intensity—inviting you to sink in, drift away, and move with the rhythm.

Originally it was planned to play some tunes at the Garbicz pizzeria Sunday night. So I went there and after first improvising a sound system I started playing.. But because after some hours no DJ came as usual to replace - I just went on playing. And playing. And playing. So the sun went up again and while the pizza ovens were burning through, my iPhone djay App decks did so, too. There was rain, sun, happiness, sadness, a lot of flour and lovely people baking lovely pizza. And in between Jet von Düse playing one tune after another. ~270 tracks in total. Finally around 19hrs of the 21 were recorded - and here they are: Please excuse the slight distortion, some technical faults or bad transitions - I needed to crank up the volume on the shitty soundsystem and it is quite weird to mix on a phone for such a long time :P

Enjoy my Bucht der Träumer festival set, which I played on Friday the 15th of August from 3 to 5 p.m. It was a hot day, and there was a lovely crowd on the Schweißperle floor 💦

Ich weiß gar nicht, ob ihrs schon wusstet, aber Techno am Mittag ist quasi das neue Brunch. Nur ohne Croissants - dafür mit ordentlich Bums.
Daher: Willkommen zur Mittagsmesse: 120 Minuten feierliches „Amen“ im 4/4-Takt.
Für alle, die ihren Kater wegbouncen wollen oder einfach glauben, dass Bier schon Frühstück sein kann.

Uuugh what a trip! After one year of waiting and anticipating, we returned to the mystic island and to our beloved Funky Float. After 10days of intense buildup, we as a crew had the privilege to play after each other on saturday (my playtime being 18-20) and showcase what we feel is right for our floor.
Eventhough it turned out to be one of the grayest days of the entire time, the vibes were strong. And as ordered, the clouds broke up right on time and presented us one of the most beautiful and mesmerizing sunsets, which resulted in my most memorable and special gig so far. It felt like all the hard work and love my crew put in this project, finally paid off, and half the festival was there to witness the magic of this moment.
Thousand thanks to everybody involved. This was a dream come true!

Wieder ein ganz besonderes Wochenende 💫
Ich durfte erneut auf dem Sauna Floor spielen – dieses Mal mit einem super-smoothen Downtempo-Set.
Wie schon im letzten Jahr: einfach magisch. So viel Liebe, vertraute Gesichter und wunderschöne Vibes. 🌀

Am Ende durfte ich sogar noch ne Stunde dranhängen. Den Teil habe ich jedoch nicht mehr hochgeladen, da es einen kleinen Break gab. Es war aber schön zu sehen, dass alle unbedingt weiter tanzen wollten :) 

Ein Set, zu dem man wunderbar wegträumen kann.
Viel Spaß beim Hören – und für alle, die da waren: taucht nochmal ein in diese ganz eigene Sauna-Floor-Atmosphäre. ❤

I had the honor of playing on the Sauna Floor again – this time with a super smooth downtempo set.
Just like last year: simply magical. So much love, familiar faces, and beautiful vibes. 🌀

In the end, I was even allowed to add another hour. However, I didn’t upload that part, since there was a small break. But it was beautiful to see that everyone really wanted to keep dancing :)
