Ambu Bambu is a Groningen based DJ whose high energy sets rely on breakbeat and (ghetto) electro, while incorporating elements like tongue-in-cheek lyrics, acid synths, heavy percussions, and musical nods to her Chinese heritage. Her quick rise is a manifestation of her unmatched enthusiasm for the scene and the quality of her selections, which haven't gone unnoticed by events and clubs alike. 


Since her first radio show for Relate Radio, where she has now become a regular, she has played at radio stations across the Netherlands and in Budapest, as well as MISFIT festival, club OOST,  and MAXI Utrecht just to name a few. Having been selected recently as one of the winners of Soenda's DJ contest, the future is looking bright and bootylicious for Ambu Bambu!

Born in Istanbul, based in Aachen, he got introduced to electronic music during his studies in Germany. After falling in love with techno and electro, he started producing and djing. He has released music on various labels including Molekül Records, Action Replay Codes, Bogoture Records, Ovelha Trax, and Your Character.


“Even though I love producing and playing electro, I wanted to record something different this time. Lately I've been influenced by complex drum rhythms, groovy techno tracks, funny ghetto vocals and uplifting vibes. I often like to record sets where the sound evolves throughout the mix. In this one there is an evolution from drummy, breaky vibes to more trancy and techno.”

We open a new season of gladiocast series with German Angst, a rather mysterious DJ-Team operating on the axis between the North Rhine-Westphalian art metropole Dusseldorf and East Germany's Electro capital Leipzig. Since 2019 the two DJs, which like to stay unknown, try to connect the dots between east and west - focussing on classic and real electro, played straight from wax. In the past years they had appearances at Callshop Radio (Leipzig) and Tarmac Festival (Allstedt). Enjoy this fantastic mix.

Transmission for Palestine, Volume 2, is a 24-hour program aiming  to delve into the history of Palestine, engage in discussions about the ongoing genocide, and unite artists worldwide in solidarity with Palestine, taking a resolute stand against the occupiers.

Editing the 24-hour solidarity stream dedicated to Palestine, which we recently hosted, posed its own set of challenges.We are ready to announce that the edited stream is now out for sharing with all of you. Please bear in mind that certain portions of the stream may not meet optimal quality standards. This is due to our operation from a home studio, equipped with basic tools, where we worked tirelessly for over two days.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated and contributed to the success of this event.

In the upcoming weeks, we will be releasing videos from the talks on our YouTube and SoundCloud channels, complete with full English translations. Given that some artists expressed their statements in their native languages, you can expect to hear statements in Spanish, Czech, English, and Arabic.
