The North of England is known for its musical prowess. Middlesbrough born Rees taps into that musical history while diving deep into lost disco, obscure wave and even the Middle East for his debut for Bordello. Three Eyes is a melting pot. Setting sail on bold beats and rumbling synthlines, Rees steers the listener through cascading chords, shimmering key shifts and serenading sirens to produce a truly unique dancefloor experience. Tjade, of Koi Jaye fame, is on remix duty. The winning formula of the original is adhered to with adjustments and ablutions guiding this interpretation. BPMs rise to give a fresh burst of energy. Let's go on a trip through the Bizzarro Universe.

The Hamburg-based producer couple Bizzarro Universe is back on Verflixt Music for their third release. "Speed of Light" is a perfect rollin’ space track. The Bizzarros prove their sense for the dancefloor with a track for the peak time. Keeping the Italo vibes, they delight an uncompromising piece. The female robotic voice in the breaks lets no clue, that you're on a flight through space & time, and the drop comes in like your spaceship hits Speed of Light: Powerful and with a Big Bang.
  
Remix action comes from Louis de Tomaso (Ritmo Fatale) and David Body (Melopee Records, Exploited). Louis gives us a more trancy vision, with slightly 90s influences and those synth melodies he likes. David delivers a more Italo House version with a softer piano synth, perfect for the late summer!

Young firestarter Kendal lands on Dischi Autunno with his second release, a 4-track elevated burner of contemporary dance music with a distinctive, melodic take on 80's and 90's electronic tropes.

Opener 'Disturbo' blends prime-time piano riffs with insistent breakbeats and uplifting melody. Inspired by horror legend John Carpenter, 'Intacto' takes us further into the wormhole, late 80's new-wave sensibilities in the punchy low-end refreshed by modern production techniques and a euphoric synth line giving a nod to peak-energy trance state dance music.

Heading into the B-side, we're treated to more of Kendal's fine ear for melody and progression with 'Moresko', a meandering tale that allows rhythm and pattern to build and fall away, all the while never losing sight of the release's hallmark uplifting energy. Closing proceedings is the strut and swagger of 'Ritmo Fatale'. Cosmic dancefloor ready, the rolling bassline is beautifully paired with escalating synths and crisp percussion for a hands-in-the-air finale.

Across the four tracks Kendal demonstrates a clear ear for the prime-time, discerning dancefloor: ubiquitous and passionate, his sound is sure to find a home on sound systems around the world.

Using vintage synths is a thing, using them efficiently is another, and Mouissie does this masterfully well. On his anthemic gem Callisto - only his second production! - the right balance is found between modern and retro sound. More importantly it has this most precious thing : the secret recipe that triggers nostalgia & euphoria at the same time. What a mesmerizing track. Watch out for him !

PREMIERE - Endrik Schroeder - Take Off (Ritmo Fatale)

With her label Correspondant, Jennifer Cardini has pursued a progressive dance sound with a far-flung group of established and upcoming artists. Since 2011, more than fifty EPs have been put out. At the beginning of 2017 Jennifer Cardini and her partner Noura Labbani will start a new label, Dischi Autunno. 
With Dischi Autunno, Cardini and Labbani will release rock, indie, ambient, prog and experimental music directed to the home listening experience. The label will publish solely albums which will be made available on LP, CD as well as digital with !K7 as distributor. The first catalogue number will be “Holy Ghost People” by Dutch artist Dollkraut.
Each record will have unique artwork created by UK visual artist, photographer & film maker Stevie Anderson. Exploring altered mind states with symbolic and metaphorical images Anderson will add a visual dimension to Dischi Autunno´s music.
