Mexican artist and Roam alumni Rolvia returns with three psychedelic electronic original offerings backed by remixes from Justin Robertson and Zakmina to form the Megacorp EP. Imagina combines tripped out vocals, live instruments, and synths in a hypnotic mid temp journey. Miss Datos carries the live electric feel into slightly dreamier euphoric territory. Vertices turns up the arps for a fun ride. Up first on the remixes is Justin Robertson who takes Imagina deeper accentuating the dark grooves from the original. Zakmina flips the script with an all out peak time rave version bringing it back to the 90s.

Barcelona’s Anbau (Aspecto Humano) debuts on Bordello with a Giro d’Italia themed EP. Dedicated to its heroic riders and specifically the late Marco Pantani. He broke through in 1994, winning one of the hardest Giro climbs with an incredible time record; the Passo del Mortirolo. He eventually became second in the final rankings of this legendary tour of Italy.

The release will be out on the 4th of May, kicking off the 108th edition of La Corsa Rosa. Every copy comes in a limited edition sleeve with a rare original Merlin collector’s sticker of the 78th Giro from ’95.

Following a debut EP on Golf Channel in 2015, Autarkic aka Nadav Spiegel has risen in status alongside his close friends and collaborators Red Axes and Moscoman. His recent debut LP for Disco Halal has garnered critical acclaim. Spiegel clearly has a rare talent as a songwriter, crafting the kind of intelligent, left-field pop music that one usually has to look back to the avant-garde of the 1980s to find.  If things were more downtempo, experimental and psych rock on his first EPs, these tracks for Turbo point squarely at the dance-floor, and have been staples in the sets of not only Moscoman and Red Axes, but in the other rising stars of the underground Israeli scene around labels like Malka Tuti and Fortuna records, as well as the global groove empire developing around Turbo A&R Thomas Von Party’s Multi Culti. Brainchild of Multi Culti A&R, Sascha Funke and Niklas Wandt were introduced by Dreems, who charted a course for the seasoned Berlin-based producer and funky multi-percussionist and singer. 

Wandt was just about to enter the scene forcefully with his collaborative 2LP with Wolf Müller and the debut single of his band Neuzeitliche Bodenbeläge. In the icey cold of his warehouse rehearsal space, Funke had him record a variety of slapped, bowed and scratched percussions (congas, talking drum, prepared cymbals played with a bass bow) over his tracks. These first efforts were later expanded into joint sessions at Sascha's home studio and, within a few weeks, the journey reached it’s destination: Wibe strasse, Deutschland.

At first glance, they seem an odd couple: a techno veteran of almost thirty years meets a side-burned upstart socialized in Free Jazz and Krautrock. but the shared sonic influences come through in the hypnotic, dubbed-out sound, perhaps rooted in the close connection the two share to the Rheinland region in West Germany, Funke as part of the Kompakt family and Wandt by origin and socialization in the Cologne and Düsseldorf music scene centered around the Salon des Amateurs. Regional flavours, global appeal. Multi Culti, promoting local collaboration, one freaky record at a time.

It comes with some explosive remixes, too: Rigopolar switches the beats to four-four juggernauts and swathes the original's magic in heavy cosmic layers while Kincaid continues his impeccable vein of form with a moodier perspective, loaded with far-gazing synth spirals, tidal washes and slippery icicle arpeggios.

And the shivers continue as we huddle closer for the sweaty, dancefloor gem 'That Crisp Night'. A turbo cosmic boogie vibe loaded with sizzling synth slap bass and humanised keys, once again / AMBIANCE doesn't just hit the spot; this time he smashes it to analogue pieces. Good night!

PREMIERE #901 | Kalipo & Local Suicide - Wunderbar (Mufti Remix) [Hold Your Ground] 2020

Javi Redondo releases a 5-track EP on Dischi Autunno featuring 3 originals, with the remaining tracks consisting of remixes of lead track ‘Rythmo’ from Pablo Bozzi (aka Lapse of Reason) and Cosmo Vitelli. The pace across the EP may be quite sedate, but the sounds within are anything but: blending analogue techno manoeuvres with a disco-inflected methodology, the producer paints a picture of prime-time energy with a heaped spoon of fun. 

‘Black 5th’ draws heavily on this energy, static, patient acid jittering forward slowly and with intent as the sci-fi-esque samples and spooked electronics flutter in and out of audibility. ‘Non Sei Qui’ takes the energy out of the stars and into an EBM horror soundtrack, shattered vocal samples and 80’s synth leads bringing the listener deeper into the intensifying groove.

‘Rythmo’ sets the bar, gritty bass sludging past a gate of motorik drums. True to its name, the rhythm develops swiftly, krautrock-edged energy gathering momentum as the percussion suite, faintly coloured with house music tropes, reaches for the stars. 

Pablo Bozzi, in the vein of Space Dimension Controller, adds a cinematic punch to ‘Rythmo’, transforming the original into an enigmatic, almost trance-like piece, while Cosmo Vitelli’s ‘K hole’ remix pulls the other way, using a stylised view of the percussion as an ephemeral layer above treacle-thick bass and whirring, panic-stricken machinery.

Rina is Asaf Sanzer - a Musician, Producer, Explorer and DJ from Tel-Aviv. He is constantly expanding the boundaries of electronica by creating unique language & interpretations of electronic music. ‘BOLAMOADON’ is a powerful diverse release which includes two originals and two remixes.

PRÉMIÈRE: Rina - Yoav (Plot Pilot Remix) [New Day Everyday]

With their label Correspondant, Jennifer Cardini has pursued a progressive dance sound with a far-flung group of established and upcoming artists. Since 2011, more than fifty EPs have been put out. At the beginning of 2017 Jennifer Cardini and her partner Noura Labbani will start a new label, Dischi Autunno. 
With Dischi Autunno, Cardini and Labbani will release rock, indie, ambient, prog and experimental music directed to the home listening experience. The label will publish solely albums which will be made available on LP, CD as well as digital with !K7 as distributor. The first catalogue number will be “Holy Ghost People” by Dutch artist Dollkraut.
Each record will have unique artwork created by UK visual artist, photographer & film maker Stevie Anderson. Exploring altered mind states with symbolic and metaphorical images Anderson will add a visual dimension to Dischi Autunno´s music.
