After the huge success of Volume 1, played by the likes of Jenifer Cardini, Skatebard, Vladimir Ivkovic, Cormac, Horse Meat Disco, Belaria and many more, Fauve Records thought it was time to put together Vol.2 for you. 

This time Romain FX, went and scouted more toward the young producers of today. Digging up artists from Brazil, Japan, France & UK.
 
With the full spectrum of Italo represented here, you have access to the “less is more” touch, to the fast & curious and even to the more boogie side of Italo. We would like to welcome newcomers: Yukio Nohara, Ticara, REES, Patxi & Pedro Bertho, Austher & special mention to Val-Air for his first original release and of course usual suspects Native Red & Romain FX on duty for some intricate take on Italo Disco.

PREMIERE: Austher - Weird Dancer

Alex Aguayo is Mahkina (SXDNS038), a moniker through which the Mexican rising star explores his 90s influences by delivering a sonority more devoted to Trance and early Rave combined with shards of Cosmic Disco. What a concoction, isn’t it? With previous appearances on vital labels such as Haunted Space, DistroKid, Maleante, and U’re Guay, he is now back on the Montevideo-based multi-genre imprint with a trippy and frenzied release: The EP consists of three highly mighty originals and three well-constructed remixes made with love by Gala, Manuel Sahagun, and Imanol, the label boss himself.

The track we chose to review/premiere is maybe the one that best expresses what Alex really intends to deliver under his new alias. “Autonomy” is above all hypnotic and feverish – exactly what is expected from the combination of his Trance & Rave influences. From his Cosmic Disco references, psychedelic and churning melodies supplied by the beautiful arpeggiated synth layers. The result: A peak-time cut devoted to putting big smiles on people’s faces!

This stellar work takes Matteo Pepe aka Uabos to one more step towards big stages, certifying his artistic maturity. The man has always been a "club" disc-jockey and here he has shown his love for the glamorous disco atmospheres and aesthetics.

We have always believed in the fusion from past and present, from acoustic and electronic sounds and Matteo too: so it's clear for us a good part of the future will come from that and it was almost natural to work together.

Originals sound powerful, moreover the remixers' throbbing drum machines and hypnotic heavy synthesizers further bolster Uabos' message, turning a personal A-side into a B-side banger.
A few less than 30' record that feels simply too short and it definitely "goes”: an incredible work of club-focused electronic music that sum perfectly Uabos' style and his love for the dancefloor. It's showtime.

*We also release a digital remixes package of this new release featuring the italian legend dj/producer Marco Dionigi and the young but respected talent Amarcord.

Epicure Records is psyched to deliver the fresh new release of Mexicans producers, Tapia & Mahkina (Alter Ego of Alex Aguayo)

In this project the two guys have joined forces to produce « Stereo Dust », which will be out on the 26 of July.

This EP is pure sparkling club music blending subtly, proper industrial sounds, classic rave drum sequences, and atmospheric trance grooves.

Together, they have developed an old rave party sound and bring new influences from the explosive Mexican scene. The result is pure bliss.

It's composed of three original songs :

Title track, Stereo Dust is a big piano-house summer anthem full of trancey energy that will have you going even happier than before. You will dance for sure !

Second track, "Black Leather" is a psychedelic powerful machine with a heavy bassline tailored for the club. Play it loud.

Last track, "You Left Your Underwear" grabs its position with a straight beat being accompanied by space echoes, sharp and various 90’s synth sounds.

To cope with the emergency COVID-19, 24 / H @twentyfourhoursrecords and the Temple of the Lost Future have created a new global network active on social and political issues with the aim of saving our planet. This is why RSTW was born.

Given the pandemic that has hit humanity in recent months, we want to raise funds to support public hospitals and health organizations that are fighting the virus on the front lines.  The first action is the creation of an open and constantly updated music compilation.  All proceeds will be divided between the different territories of origin of the artists who will donate their music to this project.

With her label Correspondant, Jennifer Cardini has pursued a progressive dance sound with a far-flung group of established and upcoming artists. Since 2011, more than fifty EPs have been put out. At the beginning of 2017 Jennifer Cardini and her partner Noura Labbani will start a new label, Dischi Autunno. 
With Dischi Autunno, Cardini and Labbani will release rock, indie, ambient, prog and experimental music directed to the home listening experience. The label will publish solely albums which will be made available on LP, CD as well as digital with !K7 as distributor. The first catalogue number will be “Holy Ghost People” by Dutch artist Dollkraut.
Each record will have unique artwork created by UK visual artist, photographer & film maker Stevie Anderson. Exploring altered mind states with symbolic and metaphorical images Anderson will add a visual dimension to Dischi Autunno´s music.
