The official record label of DJ/Producer Seven Lions, Ophelia is a label that promotes independent music, and is the official home for the music of Seven Lions since 2018. “Ernstig is Dutch for severe/serious/grave. The vocal in Ernstig is from a tragic scene of One Punch Man where the hero Mumen Rider takes his last stand against a villain. He’s a weak hero, who always gets beaten in one punch no matter how hard he tries. Yet he is incredibly determined, with the desire to do good, and never backs down, even at the cost of his own life. I have only watched a little of the show but this really kept hanging in my mind for days, and I wanted to make it the theme of a song. This track references a common speedrunning glitch/technique where you trick a game into warping your character to somewhere they shouldn't be (often the credits screen) - in particular Super Mario Bros. 3 for the NES which sees Mario trapped in screens of glitched tiles during the trick.
