Thalem χaile, the Wandering Sage. He is one of two Chroniclers of Igir, the other being Niran, the Blind Sage. Thalem is mute but communicates with Niran through hand gestures. Although Niran cannot visibly see Thalem's gestures, his attunement to the sound of Thalem's robes as he waves his hands serves him in translation. These two often meet together through paid couriers, to discuss the current histories of Igir, and what is to come based on the recorded information provided by their ancestors.
