The Black Light Disco Show reigned supreme on the MyHouseRadio.fm airwaves last week with another tip-top 2 hours of tantalising sonic pleasure.  

This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming resident Cole Kutz through the doors of BLD Towers to take on the whole show. Cole has been helping us set up the new outdoor cinema on the sky terrace, ready for our ‘Black Light Fresco’ movie nights over the summer holidays, so we thought we’d let him do the show from there. The Black Light Disco Show swings on the jungle vines that are the MyHouseRadio.fm airwaves - sticking the middle finger up to those Monday blues and launching your week ahead with a positive bang! 

It’s all about Pookie Knights this week as we welcome the lads back to BLD Towers with open arms and empty wallets! We’ve been putting the finishing (costly) touches to our newly renovated ‘Teddy Pendergrass Suite’ this week, so the Pookies will be setting up the disco ball and decks in there amongst the scatter cushions and abstract art lying about. 

Expect the usual pulsating high-energy thrills, spills and disco bellyaches from the deadly Wrexham duo!

Hot To The Touch With MartinMax 010923 On Prime Radio

My co-host @gregmiddleton was back in the hotseat this week - throwing down some new jams and a couple from the crates in the first hour, before handing over to his special guest, fellow London-based DJ, Ian Perry. @dj-ian-perry

Ian has been DJing for over 20 years across many venues in London, with a huge passion for Disco, House and everything in between. He is well-known for being part of DJ duo DeepNDisco, with his long time friend, Nick Standen, beginning with a residency in 2016 at established Croydon night, Funkme. For the last 4 years they have been regulars at Up On the Roof at Brixton’s iconic Prince of Wales, playing alongside many of the scene’s biggest names including Dave Lee, Norman Jay MBE, Dimitri from Paris, Shapeshifters, Crazy P, Cj Macintosh and many more, while also co-hosting over 100 episodes of their fortnightly radio show on d3ep Radio network.

Heading their separate ways, Ian has been doing solo gigs, such as supporting Michael Gray at his new Sultra event, and has launched a very popular series of mixes on his Soundcloud page. We’re delighted to have Ian on the show, and we're sure you’re going to love his guest mix… it’s full of energy and a real mix across the house genres.

It was an absolute joy to share to share the decks, and a few beers, while covering some serious musical ground across the 2 hours .... we spun a completely off the cuff mix of stuff that we'd like to hear in a dark, sweaty, club... quirky electro disco, uplifting house, afrobeat, soulful house, nu-disco, 90s progressive classics and more!
