Masterful producer @YUKSEK returns to RNT with the Déjà Vous EP of all-original modern disco. She’s Mine leads with a rolling percussive beat and Italo baseline and layers emotive piano chords and plaintiff vocals, to hearken back to a nostalgic era of indie disco. On the flip side, the EP title track collab with Brazilian producer Diogo Strausz brings expected tropical flavor, and All Night feels a bit French-touchy with it’s infectious phase effected vocal loop. Accessible hooks and solid production, this is a handy one for the bag!

Making waves in the independent music scene, Montreal-based artist Nicholas Cangiano has been deftly blending soul, funk, electronics and rock into a sound uniquely his own, producing a kind of dusty new pop. Flexing his range and unorthodox writing style, Cangiano has just released his much anticipated album “Have You Heard”, building on the momentum gained in the Montreal music scene over the past two years. He has received the Jurley Sound Recording grant from FACTOR Canada. Indie Shuffle praised him “NC’s ability to enter the flow state cuts through a world of straight lines and rules to produce a sound that's been honed to near perfection”. For us, ‘Falling Behind’ has never left our DJ sets and ears since it was released in 2023. What a tune!

After our first 12 Inch with DoctorSoul Reworks, we now return with more smooth, high class Edits/Reworks by 3 outstanding modern producers of soulful/jazzy dance vibes.
Michael Franks is one of the most prolific musicians of the Californian Westcoast/Jazz/AOR/Yacht scene, the one and only Michael Franks, who approved personally the new version. Over the languorous course of 33 years and 16 albums, Michael Franks has mesmerized an international legion of fans with his one-of-a-kind artistry. Seamlessly weaving lyrics of stunning sensuality, wit, reflection and literary eloquence over music that tastefully utilizes top shelf shadings of jazz, soul, pop, chamber and music from around the globe. His music was covered by countless international stars, like The Carpenters, Shirley Bassey, Ringo Star, Natalie Cole, a.m.m. . His music lives on and is loved by so many modern Balearic/Soft Disco musicians/producers from today.

The Reworkers:

FLYING MOJITO BROS: 
are two Desert Disco and Outlaw House DJs pioneering the great electronic wilder-ness.
With boots firmly planted in dusty 70s sunsets, their productions take cosmic country funk and classic rock to dancefloors via modern disco and baggy acid house on a bed of hefty contemporary rhythms.

JACK TENNIS: 
Berlin producer Jack Tennis is the mastermind behind a lot of projects. He releases his own music under the name Hotlane (signed to Gomma Records) and spreads his Disco-Edits for UK’s influential Disco Label Midnight Riot (run by Yam Who!), Spa In Disco and Too SLow To Disco. He has an edit on every TSTD YACHT DISCO EDITS compiatlion so far, he was already part of TSTD EDITS 2 – Brasil with an edit, and last year he remixed SATIN JACKETS for TSTD NEO’s “The Sunset Manifesto” - compilation. The 4 tracks on this compilation are regular floor fillers in DJ Supermarkt’s DJ Sets, so it was time to give them a proper vinyl release. Lots more to come!

MONSIEUR VAN PRATT: 
founder of Super Spicy Records, is a prominent producer and DJ originally from Mexico City, whose influence on electronic music is widely recognized both nationally and internationally. With an impressive career that includes more than 100 releases in digital format and 26 on vinyl, which consolidate him as a key figure in the genre.
