Jaguar stripes Natalia Escobar spotless edit

The New Jersey master's 1999 homage to dawn's early light has been given a re-outing on the French trio's lauded imprint (@apolloniamusic).

Classic Chandler in every sense, robust 4/4s thump under muffled shuffling hi-hats, a viscous bassline and soft airy chords, while Kerri's own supple vocals are surprisingly dulcet.

With Delano Smith on the remix with some lovely deepness, this forgotten gem is about to be remembered.

LIVE 2023

I'm super excited to share my first dawless liveset with you! It's finally here! after more or less 2 years thinking about it. It took quite some time to find a setup that matched my workflow and it was a long back and forth, exchanging and rearranging all my gear. But now i feel really comfortable and inspired with my Elektron setup! Let's see where else it takes me...

The setup I played with:

A warm welcome to our [#92#] installment of SPACE VIEWX as on this chapter we are delighted to deliver this exceptional curation by one of the upstanding artist & compiler whom we contemplate as one of the augusts, better known for his eccentric stellar curations & eccentric productions residing in France, Miroir!

About Miroir:

Miroir, aka David P, is a French DJ based in Saint Nazaire, on the west coast of France.
According to David, it all started in 1992 with the discovery of the world of raves and acid house parties and the appearance of the first vinyl record stores, where he spent a large part of his time looking for new releases. His first purchases were from labels like Axis Synewave and djax-up Beats. Then, collectives of DJs based in Nantes regularly invited him to launch their techno
evenings, where he played progressive and hypnotic mixes. He was known back then as Dj Dav,and today, it's through Miroir, French for Mirror, that he wishes to share his thoughts and his Deep Dub and Techno influences. Steve‘s straight up remix maintains the classic vibes with a sensitive 90s themed re-work that calls upon clean, fresh drums and smooth sub bass as its initial building blocks. The instantly recognisable vocal is included, as is the hey-day chord vibes and glorious US house melodies. Simply deadly in the right moments... A Re-Dub version is also included that spaces things out and opens up the strings in a breezy and superbly mixed club tool.

A ‚New York Dub‘ has also been included, dug out from the Chez Damier vaults and re-mastered for 2012 - highly prized vibes on this and his trademark, pushing, swinging drums keep us going ‚on and on‘!
