The phrase 'ankle buster' originated in surf culture as a reference to the kind of small, rolling wave that leaves your tarsus in tatters. Aussie house duo Cut Snake's latest mix, though, titled 'Maybe Why Not' in honor of their new single, is so stuffed with groovy house jams that you should be concerned for your ankles as it'll have you jacking with some vigor.
Stuffed with winners from Dusky, Doorly, Leftwing & Kody, Justin Jay and Cassian, the mix is centered around their own "Maybe Why Not," made with the obviously Aussily named Wongo.

Clocking in at an hour and kicking off with a pan flute solo (can you ever really get enough pan flute?), this mix is all good vibes from Sedz and Fish.

Spiritual Reality (2025)

This is a track I created in May 2024. It's the first song I've ever composed.I haven't done the mastering yet, so the sound might feel a bit scattered, but feel free to give it a listen! I'd love to hear your thoughts.

The inspiration for this track comes from the popular Japanese drama "SHOGUN" on Netflix. I envisioned a person wearing a helmet, escaping from enemies in a forest.

This set was recorded on my first trip to South Africa, where I performed at a festival and a free show in Soweto alongside local artists Vinny da Vinci , Dj Fresh, Euphonik, Culoe de Song and LSG. All tour dates were partnered with non-profit organisation Bridges for Music. The aim was to use music to break down socio-economic boundaries bringing people from different communities together .
