Banned for life from intergalactic dance floors for refusing to kneel before the reptilian techno gods, Mystery Kid is sailing her own ship. Not only she is a great DJ navigating between dark disco, steroid-pumped Italo & spacey EBM, but she is also very active in the scene making sure everyone gets their spot in the sunshine. Just a few weeks ago she was part of opening the festival season at @printempsdb and tomorrow you can find her at @made.festival in Rennes (check her upcoming gigs on her last post!). On top of that she is the mom of @bakery.agency, has her own show on @disco.suicide and is also part of the crew at @laroomrcrds. Did I mention  she was very active in the scene ?? For today’s episode the Mystery spaceship commander, aka the masked Digger, is taking us on a night cruise filled with her inspirations : a touch of darkness, a touch of glitters, a touch of fire, all blending into this strong set. #3615 STOCKHOLM SYNDROM 

Stockholm Syndrome is a DJ/producer based in Melbourne. Originally from Edinburgh, Iain Mac (aka Pyz) has been DJing and promoting for over 2 decades.
After moving to Melbourne in 2010 Pyz formed Stockholm Syndrome. Pyz / Stockholm Syndrome has been DJing and promoting for over a decade. With a 9-year residency at Edinburgh’s Cabaret Voltaire, he's supported DJ Hell, The Hacker, Ivan Smagghe, Popof, Surgeon, Agoria, Luke Slater, Derek May, and Kevin Saunderson to name a few. After moving to Melbourne he formed Stray in 2012 and has been heavily involved in Yaldi Boomtime as a resident and co-promoter.
Stockholm Syndrome’s style is extremely varied and unapologetic, it can’t be neatly wrapped up into a single genre. He is drawn to dark, moody Techno, the raw energy of Mex-tech, and the eclectic sounds of Balearic Acid House. Since his debut at Section 8 in Melbourne, he has gone on to clock up an impressive gig list DJing at many of the city’s iconic venues including Revolver Upstairs, New Guernica, The Liberty Social, Boney, and The Mercat.

2015 saw an inspired closing set at the inaugural Piknic Electronik Melbourne. 2016 started off with a bang opening the Sunset Stage at Rainbow Serpent Festival, widely regarded as one of the best music, art, and lifestyle festivals in the world. This was quickly followed up with a return to Piknic Electronik Melbourne where he performed to a sell-out crowd warming up for The Hacker. He also rounded out a big year with an appearance at Strawberry Fields Festival along with support for Carl Craig on New Year’s Eve.

Since then Stockholm Syndrome has been very focused on production and studio time. In the last few years, he has collaborated with several of his favorite artist and friends. Most notably forming ‘Stockholm Youth’ A collaboration with Nein Records Boss Tronik Youth, ‘Man Syndrome’ with the mighty Man 2.0 & of course his most recent work with Mexican heavy wait Lusca. 

Stockholm Syndrome continues to keep himself busy gigging, curating his monthly podcast ‘Hostage Radio’ and putting on his own ‘Tilt Shift’ events. On top of this, he has a number of EPs & Remixes set to drop with labels such as Ombra International, Nein, Melomana, Controlla, Veneno & Play Pal Music
