Queer Utopias | Residénce en StationStation Radio

That one time we got a café so crowded that the toilet got clogged and the baristas got into the moshpit.  in this inaugural episode of “Queer Utopias”, part of the residency at StationStation by Discoderiva — a queer led online radio from Brazil — a disorienting, almost spectral journey is shown. a path suspended somewhere between a nightmare and dream, marked by an unsettling blend of sounds, words and molecules of softness and harshness. horses trample dollhouses, and music swirls like a mantra, echoing both calm and chaos in equal measure. what begins as soft, and seemingly serene quickly gives way to a brutal force. an onslaught that shatters all illusion of fragility. an unapologetic form of queerness, not simply expressed but imprinted, like a crack in the wall that refuses to be hidden. queerness here is rebuilding, not in the image of comfort, but in the silhouette of rupture.  with tracks by @unomille94 & @votuuuuuuu. the unraveling begins.

Queer Utopias #1 w/ discoderiva

In this episode of “Queer Utopias”, part of the residency at StationStation by Discoderiva, we invite the brazilian sound artist and researcher Podeserdesligado to dwelve into her own archive as a way to show real life matter through made-out sonic expressions. Featuring sound sculptures shaped into analog synthesizers, she uses a diverse range of samples, vocal pieces and fragments of interviews to construct portals of resonance, alternative ways of sensing and imagining. A passage, or a friction between speculating the real and building sensory fictions around spiraling time.
