Intergalactic Immi Solo Excursion at Emma's Haus

Thanks again to the Relish whānau for inviting us to the beautiful Hunter Hills, Canterbury, Aotearoa. @lambi-kitty aka @grgrrr and @imkeherz played the first DJ set of the festival in the Boogie Down tent on Friday night and it was an absolute pleasure to play some spaced out bangers to a spaced out crew. In classic Lambi Kitty style the sounds traverse multiple continents from harsh krauty feedback through samples of african drums, mouth harps, various unknown string instruments, indian acid raga, flutes played with noses, almost enters "normal" house territory to finish with a tropical holiday in Abidjan. Always playful, always catchy.

Due to some tech issues this set had to be re-recorded and could possibly contain one or two extra track, lucky you! Once a year The Mussel inn; an old rustic pub, situated in Mohua, Aotearoa gets turned into a paradise for Disco lovers. Smoky red lights, a herd of disco balls spinning from the ceiling and the old wooden floor of the building is making its own beat from the lovers of disco bouncing to the groove.

Oh, our hearts are full! Thanks to Axel for inviting us to play at the Wein Bar floor during Garbicz Festival in Poland this year. We had an absolutely amazing time lighting up Friday night with tracks that made the bar shake and the sparkling bubbles pop! 
A thousand kisses to Romanski for lending us his recorder 😘 was such a good time seeing everyone and being lost in music for five long days and nights.

Christmas Delusions Pt. 1 w/  Lambi Kitty and MÅX

Delusional Disco Drongo's own Lambi Kitty babies (@grgrr + @imkeherz) were invited by Day2 to play the Sunday early morning from 7 to 9 but continued until 11 because the next DJ didn't show up - great news. 

Starting at 74 BPM the mix slowly works it's way through some downtempo tribal before finishing with disco, house and leftfield pop. Music to wake up, de-crust the eyelids, shake out the limbs and practise your smiles to.

This healing journey was recorded in August 2020 at a small indoor/outdoor festival at Golden Bay's Autumn Farm. There's a few new and old favourites mixed up in here. Dubby cuddle vibes meander into weird deepness, tribal drums high-five rocky guitars...dreamy dancemoves on a moonlit floor, bodies spinning to folky 4/4 and restrained disco-y basslines.

En Katt (@max-serra-3) and Lambi Kitty (@lambikitty) once again took over Roots Bar for a long evening of positive dance music. Starting out slow, funky and weird we somehow arrived on a sweaty, heaving dancefloor sometime around 11pm. 

Everything started spinning, colours blurring, faces smiling, butts shaking, fists pumping. Still getting goosebumps from that vibe.
