Here's a new Zouk Edit of this little cheapo. I really enjoy the energy and the vibes of this little known track. I took out some break / reorganised a little the track. To add some groove, I added a reggae rimshot, boosted the kick and some discrete high hats action to my taste.

Next up, heavenly father Greg Belson. A true OG DJ, collector & vinyl archaeologist, he’s been amassing an archive of obscure, undiscovered recordings from all over the United States for over 25 years. 

He’s produced records under various guises, including Divine Situation alongside producer Paulo Fulci. He's behind the compilation Divine Disco Series on @CulturesofSoul Records and also hosts the monthly Divine Chord Gospel Show on @dublab, broadcast out of his home town of LA. ⛪

Greg applied his musical nous to Palms Trax's label @CWPT on their excellent tape series too, ‘Saturday Night/Sunday Morning’, mixing two sides of truly transcendent, deeply affecting cuts that speak in turn for the heat of the weekend party and the afterglow of a Sunday morning. ✨

He has graciously delivered a 100% gospel modern soul & disco session to bring up the half century in our mix series, in life-affirming, transcendental fashion. Eternal thanks Greg 🙏

Another epic masterpiece of synth-compas fusion from 1985 created by Haiti's Erick Paul (who some may remember for his legendary track "Bel Carnaval / Mardi Gras". Jazzy and uplifting, the vocals elicit comparisons to Brazilian music. This track makes for great dancefloor material with it's euphoric horns, flutes and beautiful keys and synth melodies. Certain parts looped along with a reshuffled structure to maximise the dancing potential! Hope you enjoy x
