The anniversary  edition is a limited edition, CD only, 3 disc set featuring the original album plus a CD of alternate versions and a CD of remixes. We have only pressed 1455 copies, each one numbered, and once they are gone we will not repress any more.

Banco de Gaia - Heliopolis (Silinder Remix)

This mix was created to celebrate the release of "Mir", the final single before the new BANCO DE GAIA album drops on September 6th. For over three decades, Toby Marks, aka Banco de Gaia, has been redefining world electronica, leaving an indelible mark on the global music scene. He has energized countless dancefloors and inspired many musicians. Renowned for blending acoustic and electronic sounds, Toby integrates themes and techniques from diverse cultures and traditions. He has collaborated with a range of talented musicians and producers, including Pink Floyd’s Dick Parry, Natacha Atlas, Tim Wheater, and Hawkwind, among others.  From cinematic ambience to pounding dancefloor fillers, Toby's music defies genres and draws from a rich array of musical sources and styles. BANCO DE GAIA | Disco Gecko Recordings Series EP. 31 | 18/08/2024

It’s been 30 years since Sirius beamed its sounds to planet Bong and to celebrate, the band contacted friends, old and new, to interpret those frequencies in new ways. Some headed for the dancefloor and others stuck by the bass bins, but all imparted musical wisdoms that take tracks from Sirius Sounds and its descendant, Not Sirius, to new constellations. These are very Sirius Versions!

soundcloud.com/childrenofthebong were formed in the early 1990s by Rob Henry and Daniel Goganian and soon found acclaim for their fiery acid melodies and earthy dub rhythms, with Melody Maker describing them as creating "the perfect soundtrack for a swirling lightshow". They released one album, Sirius Sounds, on Planet Dog in 1995, as well as a couple of tracks on the label's compilations and a Peel Session recorded for BBC Radio 1, before disappearing in a haze of smoke. In 2023 they re-emerged to release their long lost second album, Not Sirius, on Disco Gecko.

Sirius Versions showcases both the range of the duo’s sonic spectrum and the outsized influence their debut album has had on artists since its release. The various artists who have contributed remixes span generations and genres, with the end results flowing from blissed-out beats to freeform freakouts, organic dubtronica to trancefloor hustlers, with some psychedelic space-funk thrown in along the way.
