Chad Vasquez, known artistically to the music world as Discognition, creates unique and forward-moving dance music in the deep house, progressive house, and trance arenas.

Originally from Columbus, OH he made an unorthodox change from producing bass music for several years to the more melodic and organic style you hear today. With a couple of moves around the United States, Discognition has made his name known throughout the West Coast and has settled at a new home base in Denver, CO. With a unique blend of smooth driving basslines, catchy melodies and high soaring breakdowns, creative risks make his tracks immediately recognizable and stand out amongst the crowded genre. His music is quickly getting noticed and signed with some of the genres top performing labels like Purified Records, AVA Recordings, and hitting the #13 spot on beatport's progressive house charts with his single ‘Devotion’ on Elliptical Sun Melodies.

Locally he's been hard to miss, opening for coveted acts like Nox Vahn, Cubicolor, and Nora en Pure. Hey Everyone!

I've been wanting to do this for a long time ever since moving over here to a new building that has a sky terrace with an incredible view. I figured, why not put some sets together, film them during sunset, and sip some champagne because life is a celebration? After some trial and error, I've got my setup working relatively well but will make some improvements over time! I hope you enjoy the first episode of "Champagne Sunsets"

This particular sunset is a LITTLE lackluster compared to some we have so I'm looking forward to some better views here soon!

Displaying a unique style of lush and dramatic dance music stretching from the deeper sounds of organic house to the harder hitting club shakers of progressive, Discognition sets himself apart from the crowd in many ways.
