I want to remix this track since years... On my first Brasil trip 2007 I met Paulao, who while dj-ing said with a huge smile: "I have the perfect track to spin just before you pick up...". I was wondering what would it be till i heard this amazing track by Airto Moreira featuring the bulgarian virtuose musician Milcho Leviev. An ancient bulgarian dance with brasilian jazz flavour... What a tresure!!!

Eventually is lovely. Eventually is fire! Those are not our words, though, but rather the personal opinions of BBC Radio 1 DJ B.Traits and world-renowned producer, DJ and tastemaker Diplo – respectively – who upon hearing Branko’s latest track just had to run to Twitter to tell the world how much they loved it. And the praise goes on in the comments section of Red Bull Music Academy’s Soundcloud page, where Eventually (feat. Alex Rita & Bison) was featured on the ’20 Before 15’ free download series and (at least) one fan claims to have played it 300 times. We believe him.

Fusing the rhythmically-charged beats of afro-house with compelling marimba melodies and the uplifiting indie vocals of Okapii’s Alex Rita, Eventually marks the beginning of a whole new musical journey for the globetrotting producer, musician and Enchufada head honcho Branko. After recording the track at Red Bull Music Academy Studios Copenhagen, the overwhelming response it got inspired him to take a whole new approach to his work that would define the next few months of his life. Deciding to record a whole album while travelling across the world, he connected with local artists from some of the most exciting music scenes around, and recording the voices, beats and samples that will eventually become his highly-anticipated debut album ‘Atlas’.

NYC-based producer Tony Quattro jumps in on the remix, expertly distilling the original’s essence and turning it into a dancefloor-focused anthem fit to rock the world’s most tropical DJ sets, by introducing some extra bass weight and heavy ballroom percussion. This only the first stop on an epic journey that has taken Branko to New York, Amsterdam, Cape Town and São Paulo on a mission to show how global this Global Club Music scene can truly get, while simultaneously raising the bar for all dance music with a cultural edge.

Lalari - Olalá (Salvador Unfinished Edit)

This offering by Berlin-based, world-influenced label Disco Halal presents three tracks that 
result from the collaboration between the Brazilian DJs and producers Selvagem and Carrot 
Green (who combine releases on BIS Inc, Universal Cave, Hello Sailor, Barefoot Beats, 
Brazilian Shakedown and Magic Movement). Exploring local melodies from the 60’s and 70’s, 
they built tracks that turn those sounds in some sort of exotic techno beasts, only with that 
tropical flavor. This black magic-blessed EP opens up with Ossain’s killer strings, psyched-out 
vocals and percussive breakdowns, followed by Dengo, a slow burner based on a candomble 
chant that, along with the flute, cowbell, and clapping, puts the audience into a spell.The B-side 
brings Vandre, a throbbing 126-bpm track carried by a lovely guitar and singalong vocals by one 
of Brazil’s most iconic protest singer. The package is complete with the remix by the ever 
growing italian duo Marvin & Guy, who kept the hypnotic aura with their lush minimal sounds. A 
crossover release hard to pin down, but all around.

Australian-Canadian cult label release their third and final instalment of SUN GAZE, featuring solar worship from Holland’s UMOJA, Irish Voodoohop import PETER POWER, French newcomers A1ST and Aussie outback legend CCOLO.

Umoja’s Umboweti is a cheerful jungle jaunt, sounding like Francis Bebey stripped and mixed for the club. Guaranteed smiles and vibe elevation. Percussion by Macaxeira Acioli

Kriola - Meirelles E Seu Orquestra (Nirso Edit)

Initiated into candomblé at 8 years of age as Ogã de Xangô, Léo Leobons has rhythm in his veins. Today, he is the most accomplished Brazilian authority on afro-cuban folklore, having contributed to the education of a whole generation of percussionists from Rio de Janeiro. He has worked with everyone from Maria Rita to Azymuth; from Nando Reis to Pedro Luís e a Parede; from Lucas Santtana and Ramiro Musotto to appearances with Tito Puente and Eddie Palmieri. His work appears in films, documentaries, radio programs and television in Brazil and around the world.

Full of rich collaborations with brilliant musicians from across the spectrum of current and traditional music in Brazil, his new album, “Ritual," brings all of his experience together into one cohesive whole, traversing and combining Afro-Brazilian and Afro-Cuban traditions into one seamless and organic package. 

“Ritual REMIXED” takes it one step further by passing the original material along to a crew of remixers who push, pull, warp and morph the ancestral rhythms into productions meant to be heard on large sound systems.

Rei do Norte (Ohxalá Retouch Mix)

Club Internacional dig deep to launch their new global reissue series in style with two long lost cuts from Rio-based label Top Tape. 

Sambacanas, or Os Sambacanas as they were sometimes also known, were a group of Samba musicians recorded by the Sao Paulo based producer Julio Nagib. Although they were mostly known for a samba covers LP entitled ‘Sucessos Da Juventude Em Tempo De Samba’ (re-released in the UK under the title ‘Fly Me To Brazil’), this song, Panga, Danga, Panga, was the A side of their only 45 single release for Top Tape which came out in 1976. 

This track has never been re-released before in its 45 single version, and has not been made available digitally. A beautiful example of raw and simple Batucada-style Brasilian samba music infused with Latin funk vibes, it features excellent vocals and percussion including the berimbau and cuica.

Club Internacional hopes you enjoy this journey back to rediscover these very different, but wonderful, long lost sounds of Brasil on this limited edition vinyl 45 pressing to add to your record collection. 

Each Club Internacional edition may take some time, but it will be worth the wait!
