George Morel broke new ground with his iconic track ‚Let’s Groove’ – defining a genre and a moment with his sound – a feat achieved by only a precious few. 
That was in 1992 – when techno & house was the new kid on the block. Now, 21 (!) years later we revisit this colossal track and fit it with some remixes, including one from the man himself.   Tom Trago, Claptone, Coyu and DJ T. and PBR Streetgang all take on the dinosaur and give it a new breath of life in 2013. 
The results are amazing, and even more so when we reflect on all that came between. An entire lifetime of music and celebration lead up to this point, and will continue long after – after all, it is the spirit of the music which never really dies.

The anonymous up-and-coming Weiss returns for the release of the highly anticipated ‘Weiss City Vol 2’. Leading the charge ‘If I Ever Dance’ is destined to follow on from ‘My Sister’, taking over the more underground dance floors, propelled by an unforgettable groove and soulful vocals. With a simple and sweet melody alongside an unforgettable vocal, ‘Devil In The Sky’ is one for classic house enthusiasts wrapped in the classic M1 organ. 
Finally, ‘Ghetto Boy’ takes us deeper and darker for an after party feel; it’s all about the groove.

The latest signing from the region is fresh Ecuadorian talent ORDONEZ, resident of the world famous Lost Beach Club. Smooth grooving percussion pushes this track along while ORDONEZ weaves in the melody from a gritty Rhodes organ and adds to the magic with spiracles of electric piano. But then, the seductive vocals come to the front and the whole track opens up to become one of the catchiest tunes of the year. The drop after the long break is just... no words can describe it! HOW YOU DOING
Next up is a funky sample-lead house burner. Nice earthy drums and a catchy guitar riff offer a warm vibe for smiles and laughter on the dance floor. ORDONEZ clearly has a very creative mind and this is demonstrated here with his intricate and creative use of sampling and arrangement. Another very strong offering from the newest member of the Mother Recordings family.
