Impassioned Disco connoisseur Mannix teams up with his regular studio mate VillaLife on a fantastic live instrument driven cover version of Junior's 80's smash, 'Mama Used To Say’. Florian Macheck provides awesome guitar licks and a powerful live bass, whilst Simon Plötzeneder delivers a beautiful trumpet performance. Andre Espeut's vibrant vocal is very respectful towards the timeless original, yet putting his own stamp on it, he takes the song into different dimensions. Brazilian Disco don, DJ Meme offers a groovy 80’s tinged Disco remix, rounding off this uplifting sing-along package, primed to re-ignite dance floors and terraces this summer!

Mannix has been one of Vienna’s most prominent house music pioneers since he first started Doing back in the early 90’s. in 1999 he formed Whipped Creem together with DJ Krismas and DJ Wax. Since then Mannix went on to be a producer, promoter and music journalist, releasing tracks on AM:PM, Go Beat, Generate Music, Soundmen On Wax, Polydor and V2. Later, Mannix and Wax formed a new funky house project Double Jackpot and together also presented the successful radio show 'Crystal Radio' on 98.3 Superfly FM. Fast forward to 2012 Mannix started working on solo material alongside long time studio mate, Albert Koler. His notable releases in recent times include his remixes for Mousse T.'s 'Maybe In May' (Peppermint Jam), Arnold Jarvis' 'Rising Into Joy' (Black Vinyl) or Luisen & Vennessa Jackson's 'Push Through' on Midnight Riot and in 2020 he released singles/EPs on labels like Tropical Disco, Re-Loved, See-Saw, Slightly Transformed and Love Harder. 2021 saw the launch of Mannix's own new label DAFIA Records, which will see him release a plethora of new singles and his long awaited debut artist album.

Antwerp native George Cynnamon makes his Déepalma Soul debut with a striking two-track EP - Happy Groove / In Your Eyes.

Following releases on Spacedisco Records, Salted Music, TheBasementDisco’s Records and countless others, Belgian producer George Cynnamon arrives on Déepalma Soul with an emphatic debut release spanning two funk-filled dancefloor jams.

Opening the release, ‘Happy Groove’ dives straight into a bed of feel-good disco-tinged energy. Grooving alongside its punchy beat and funky guitar bassline, rich strings and bright synths add flavour to the mix, whilst a soulful vocal topline brings a catchy element to this well-rounded club cut.

‘In Your Eyes’ rounds off the release with more uplifting Disco energy, flooding the mix with groove-focused instrumentality and wholesome low-frequency prominence.
