Back in 1992 when I started Djing the trend was to out do your fellow Dj with a mash up of 2 tracks, usually a mix of an accapella and a top track.  Here is an original version of one of my efforts using Subiminal Cuts - Le Voie Le Soleil  and the Accapella of India - Lover Who Rocks You.  This is the original version I did and 2 years after Way Out West released their version of the track which was also used in this mix.  It's a timeless sound of what was possible when mixing 2 pieces of vinyl together in the club.  Today with technology it is easy to put the two tracks together but never forgotten is the feeling from back in the day when two tracks just went together seamlessly with nothing but skill and devotion from the DJ. I first dropped this at The Gardens Night Club in Morecambe to a crowd that are now a part of the online group Ultimate Old Skool.  You know who you are and if you were there you should be getting goose bumps right about now..

Originally Released on Footwork Records in 1995, this hands in the air piano stomper was an instant classic back in the day and has recently received lots of play thanks to Eris Drew championing it. So much so that Fabric have picked it up for Eris's & Octa Octa's forthcoming mix album. 

Never digitally released before we are proud to be able to deliver this club classic to digital stores & streaming services for the first time. Written & Produced by Tommy Phoenix & Tony Wybrow who infamously in the mid 90's, rode into London's Club Emporium on horseback, record boxes over their shoulder, before climbing onto the decks & rocking the crowd with a now legendary 2 hour set.
