London's @bensunmusic has previously released on Delusions Of Grandeur, King Street, Nite Grooves and Quintessentials. Now he is back with a brand new EP for @razor-n-tape Reserve, following his remix of Kraak & Smaak for the label a few years back. The Distant messenger EP is a wonderfully layered EP which wears it's 90's influences on it's sleeve. Think acid tinged Larry Heard, Chez Damier and early Ron Trent and you are in the right territory. It's house music with class, warmth, depth and edge.

Brame & Hamo are two chaps from Ireland who seem not to be able to make any mistake in their releases and online sets. Everything is just dope. Their killer release “Street Urchin EP” on Dirt Crew had to be repressed by popular demand. Brame also released on Drumpoet and Morris Audio. 
Whats so special about these guys is; they found a way of combing Hiphop and House in a way we have never heard before. They pull it of perfectly! Something this podcast will prove.  
Also good to know; they just started a new Vinyl only label Splendor & Squalour, we so happened to hear some previews and it sounds mint! 
We think their style can be described as uplifting strong Deephouse, with a flavour of HipHop and distinctive synths and stabs. 
So check out this podcast. It has some surprising factors!

Big up to these young fellas. We hope for a prospective future, we can not see it any other way!

In the beginning was Larry Heard, Robert Owens, Ron Wilson aka Fingers inc. One of the great beginnings in the history of house music with some other precursors. About 34 years later house music is more alive than ever, I remember my first house purchases around 1987 (special dedication Jean Louis Again (R.I.P.) (Strada, Music Mania) and Poltergeist (U.S. Import).
The pleasure remains the same and the desire to dance too!
