this mix is far from perfect. there are many cringe-worthy transitions and the flow could definitely be better in some parts. however, there are tons of fire transitions and even more dope beats. I’d say it’s a pretty good result for a beginner that didn’t even use headphones 😜



I wanted my first mix to encompass the entire entity of my motto #fuckgenres. throughout this mix you’ll hear a variety of dubstep, mid-tempo, drum and bass, future riddim, bass house, and some hella good vibes. this mix is special to me not because it’s only my first release as discookitten, but I also incorporated many songs that have been a huge musical inspiration to me. shout out to all of the producers/DJs that are makin’ it happen and showing that dreams truly can become your reality.

my passion has always been music. each and every component that consists of the art form is marvelous to me. each genre - from rock, to hip hop, to electronic, to alternative, heavy metal - each and every musical composition requires a multitude of different concepts and incorporates various instruments to create a magnificent, unique sound. individual artists give their own twist of creativity with each piece as they tell their story. my sole purpose for this project is to showcase talented artists - to extend their creations so a wider audience can experience and enjoy their talent
