Sonic Reverie: A Tale from the Enchanted North

A lone wanderer ventured into an enchanted forest in a land where the Northern Lights painted the sky with iridescent hues. The forest's ancient trees swayed to an ethereal rhythm while the snow beneath their feet echoed a distant beat.
Guided by the forest's whispers, the wanderer journeyed deep into the wilderness. As days turned into weeks, the seeker encountered a clearing where a single tree stood. Beneath it lay a pool of liquid ice, its surface resonating with a profound bass that seemed to emanate from the Earth itself.
The wanderer had found the source, a connection between nature and sound. They closed their eyes, merging with the forest's music, becoming one with the Earth's rhythm. At that moment, they discovered the profound relationship between art and the cosmos, a secret hidden in the heart of the mysterious land.

Bio/
Liuos seemed to arrive on the dub techno scene all at once with Terms EP, his potent debut on Cold Tear Records, but this was the culmination of two decades of experimentation and discipline. A unique mix of power and spaciousness, of both longing and will, Liuos' work stands out for its clarity and expansiveness. Working steadily from his modest studio in Finland, Liuos has quietly become a respected name in the world of dub techno, with releases on Cold Tear, Lucidflow, and spclnch, and remixes for Superordinate Dub Waves and Off Records (Belgium).

THEOREM, now based in Milan and I am one of the founders of the “Clausura” party and podcast channel, focusing on spreading immersive and atmospheric 4/4 music here in town. Dear listeners, welcome to another episode of the Identity formation listening sessions. While we usually only publish podcasts on the first Sunday of the month, we have decided to release some podcasts from our collection to give you the opportunity to enjoy this quite time with some new soothing music. Our ninth installment is curated by none other than Jeroen Smulders, also known by his artistic moniker "Monosphere", and the the visionary mind behind @deep_electronic.

Monosphere aka Jeroen Smulders from the Netherlands is the founder of Deep Electronics, a deep music podcast and netlabel that explores the deep diversity in music. He was introduced to electronic music in the 80s with the music of Jean Michel Jarre and Vangelis. In the 90's he explored the many genres such as techno, ambient and goa/psychedelic trance as well as artists from the past such as Klaus Schultz and Kraftwerk. In later years, his interest in more experimental and deeper electronic music led him to dubtechno and dub-related subgenres.

In 2013 he started his channel to collect this music and other genres in tracks and guest mixes from all over the world, combined with his own photography.

He has also released many sets on prestigious channels such as Poisonoise, Dub Explorations from Quandrant Soundscape, Spclnch, Dub Techno TV, Feed the Raver and many more. In 2023 he'll be celebrating 10 years of podcasting and more than 35 years of listening to electronic music.

As we embark on this auditory exploration, let the waves of sound wash over you, carrying you to realms where emotion and melody intertwine.
