Insomniac Radio - Need a Minute Ep. 42

A re-record of my 03:30-04:30 set at the Drop Zone stage at Dimension festival NZ 2025 (so, missing a couple egregious beatmatching errors and an accidental restart on a track already playing lol). 
This is the first set I've ever recorded and shared publicly - it was such an honour to be allowed to play on the Boom Candy sound system and I'm still fizzing at how much fun it was!!! 
This set came together <24 hours before I had leave for the festival, as I had been so busy working Northern Bass, and then volunteering heavily at Kiwiburn the week prior. I'm quite proud of it and at how well it was received by the crowd.

Producer and DJ Joshua Olds has been making waves in electronic music for over a decade. Hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area, he’s propelled the art form of balancing banging house beats and lacing technically adept DJ sets to the world stage. In the 2010s, he helped guide San Francisco’s longest running weekly party, EPR, into a juggernaut that drew over 1,500 fans to its dance floor through his own expert promotional and performance prowess. 

In 2020, DiscoPill joined the notorious Gold Bloc crew. Shortly after, he co-founded Gold Bloc Records, a label which has released chart-topping tracks under his own management. Most recently, the label released DiscoPill’s own tracks "La Vida" and “My Type”, which reached #5 and #6 on Beatport’s Tech House release charts respectively with both breaking into the Top 100 overall.
