Released in summer 2019, Carribean Queen was the first musical project signed by Proxyfunk. Impressed by the original song performed by Billy Ocean in 1984, this new version of this worldwide hit, mixes both « Funk » and « Pop » styles.
Accompanied in studio by Jeremy Whyte, American-Canadian singer, Proxyfunk tried to keep an initial « Rare Groove » touch, which proved its strength in the past, while preserving the « Post-disco » vibe, an underground movement of uncluttered and radically different disco.
