I made this song when I was going to horror film festivals and watching the Texas Chainsaw Massacre a lot. I wanted to make a score for a horror film that didn't exist. I lifted the name of the lecture from a Terence McKenna speech where he is describing why he doesn't personally enjoy acid. I think of this song as what a horrifying bad trip would feel like.
