Produced, Mixed and Mastered by Ben, with additional instrumentation played by Syd Green, drummer from the NSW based band 19Twenty. With 'Clear to Ground', Ben brings an introspective look into modern Australian Alt. Country. His experiences in the Australian Defence Force feed his lyric content as a way for him to express life with PTSD both the good and the not so good. The songwriting is reminiscent of Ryan Adams, with melodic lines that hark of Crowded House. Incredibly honest, Ben McNeil holds nothing back, with his highly flexible, downright gorgeous vocals, Country, folk, and rock come together in his songs usually all within the same tune.
