You may have stumbled across @jonasfriedlich ’s debut solo 12”, a thrillingly forthright collection of hardware workouts that slipped out, unheralded, on Molten Moods late last year. For our next @DarkScienceElectro premiere, we get an update from one of the godfathers of the ‘Electrobass’ sound that permeated Florida all throughout the 2000’s. Larry McCormick decided to retire his alias @Exzakt to focus on new energy a few years back and we are just recently starting to see the fruits of that labor. During that time he created a good number of tracks that he intends on putting out over a series of releases in the future. This is the second of his ‘Intelectro’ sound focused releases, the first having been on Shipwrec.

‘Eyes On Me’ is one of six tracks on his upcoming release for his own imprint ‘Monotone Records’. This tune represents one of a number of tracks where he concentrated completely on the art of the music as opposed to the expectations he might put on himself for production in previous years as @Exzakt. ‘Eyes On Me’ is a track that has clearly been inspired by old rave tracks from the early 90's which the main synths and leads absolutely reflect. This vinyl was officially launched on 7/23 and is available now.

I am delighted to welcome electro master @DezWilliams to the @DiscosAtonicos camp, stepping up for the 4th installment. Hailing from the north of England, he is no stranger to the global electronic music scene yet prefers to remain within the domain of the underground - possessing a true artistic spirit for the simple act of creation. Having released music since the early 200’s on labels such as SCSI-AV, Cheap, Bass Agenda, Earwiggle, Killekill, Mechatronica, Bedouin, Shipwrec, New Flesh and his own imprint Elektronik Religion, Dez needs little introduction and i couldn’t be more pleased to have him onboard.
Staying true to form, Dez has delivered 5 amazing cuts impregnated with a strong dystopian atmosphere without straying from his signature electro style - crunchy bass lines, spaced out drama, alien funk and a touch of acid. A winning recipe.

An excerpt of the GLADIO live gig last Saturday 29 June at the HYBRID Festival in Melbourne Australia. This is a live played track thats not on the LIES album thats out now (get the digital here https://liesrecords.bandcamp.com/album/means-to-freedom and the vinyl LP is available in any good recordstore) maybe I will do something with it in the future for a new GLADIO LP/EP whatever  -> Again thanks to all Australian fans and well wishers - it was a grandiose time again! I will be back! This track shall be named  "Triumphant while our enemies sleep " which would be cool if that title was in the  latin language -  but I didn't attend the Lyceum (I had to go to the handycrafts lesson with other less fortunate ones while the smart ones attended the Latin & Greek lessons - down in the handycrafts class we would hit eachother with hammers and sniff wood glue) Anyways if you know what "Triumphant while our enemies sleep "  is in Latin let me know!!!

The new 2x12" LP entitled 'Junk DNA' is a dynamic package of carefully selected and sequenced songs, ranging from dystopic ambient pieces to powerful, mechanical-funk-loaded club bangers. The track selected by @DVSNME to premiere for @DarkScienceElectro is the latter of the aforementioned. Clocking in at 134 beats per minute, this track walks the line between straight forward Electro banger and thoughtful melodic composition. Moaning pads cry out during the 3 and a half minute track while stuttering arpeggios, zaps, & 808 beats keep the track moving.
