Livity Sound is proud to present a 12” of lean, refined club tracks from UK stalwart Beneath. The Mistry and No Symbols boss has spent the past 10 years exploring a sound which nods to the legacy of bleep techno, dubstep and UK funky while leaning forwards into its own distinctive space. 

His stripped-back blend of crisp drums, sprightly hooks and sub bass are instantly identifiable, but across four new tracks Beneath displays the versatility within his reach. Stomping four to-the-floor rollers on the A side face-off with minimalist dub and weighty, synth-rich expressions on the flip that move beyond the demands of the dancefloor.

"Professional Amateur Club" is a place where you don’t need to prove anything to anyone. What matters is that you know what you’re doing. A place where the result isn’t the ultimate goal but simply a satisfying conclusion to a process you truly enjoyed.

• Выпустил “Raw Life” на Sc и Bc, хотел сделать что-то не совсем мрачное, но в связи с тем, что мне недавно попрыгали по голове, выпускаю бескомпромиссный мини-альбом, который погружает в жестокую реальность уличной жизни, не скрывая ни грязи, ни боли, ни борьбы. Каждый трек — это откровенный рассказ о выживании в условиях, где правят сила, а не мозги. 
Это музыка без прикрас: грязные, необработанные звуки и хлесткие рифы, которые режут как нож по стеклу. В нем нет места для фальши, нет места для пафоса — только сырая энергия и неутомимая решимость.
Понял, что мне не нравится прилизанные ритмы, которые сейчас в тренде, я больше не буду пытаться куда-то попасть или кому-то понравиться. В этом альбоме я расскажу про то, что меня действительно поражает и чем я вдохновляюсь весь свой творческий путь. 

• I released “Raw Life” on Sc and Bc, I wanted to do something not completely dark, but due to the fact that they jumped on my head recently , I am releasing an uncompromising mini-album that plunges into the cruel reality of street life, without hiding any dirt, pain, or struggle. Each track is a frank story about survival in conditions where power rules, not brains.
This is music without embellishment: dirty, raw sounds and biting riffs that cut like a knife on glass. There is no room for falsehood, no room for pathos - only raw energy and tireless determination.
I realized that I don’t like the sleek rhythms that are now in trend, I will no longer try to get somewhere or please someone. In this album I will talk about what really amazes me and what inspires me throughout my creative journey.

DRX004 marks a new direction for label head Doctor Jeep’s musical journey, this time exploring the sonic possibilities of slowwwww bass music. “Snake Eyes” twists a Baile Funk beatbox sample into a robotic earworm, while “Pax” channels pitched-down electro and the sludgy hybrid sounds coming out of Bristol. “The Hypnotist” closes out the EP as a psychedelic dancehall mutation perfect for those late, late nights.

Doctor Jeep - Pax [DRX004]

Berlin-based producer Rhyw returns to Fever AM, the imprint he runs with Mor Elian, for the destructive four-track Loom High EP.

Across previous records on labels like Seilscheibenpfeiler and Avian, Rhyw (aka Alex Tsiridis) has produced some of the most adventurous club music in recent memory. With each new release, Tsiridis deftly blends disparate sonic palettes, maneuvering with ease between varied styles of playful, nuanced, and powerful club music.

His latest release, a thematic follow up to 2019's Biggest Bully/Felt 12" on Fever AM, highlights his versatility whilst maintaining his own unique approach to sound design. From the intricately produced broken club tracks 'It Was All Happening' and 'Geomest' to the punchy, off-kilter techno of 'Stare Me Down' and 'Loom High', each track is interjected with forceful rhythmic structures and hyper-detailed atmospherics.

Loom High will be released June 26th on Fever AM, following the recent "I Hope You Are Well During These Strange Times" direct-to-artist Bandcamp compilation released in April.
