Jensen Interceptor is a firm favourite of the Bromance crew, supporting the likes of Brodinski, Gesaffelstein, The Hacker and Maelstrom and when it comes to the style of music that the aforementioned produce, Jensen is firmly in that pack.

His next three-tracker is a dark and devilish record that does little to inspire any light or sunshine but what it lacks in happiness, it makes up for in dark and brooding atmosphere.

Located beyond Neptune's orbit is the dwarf planet Haumea, the inspiration behind Rødhåd’s second release for Token. It follows his Spomeniks 12” from last year which the Berliner used to debut on the Belgian label, the only other imprint he’s released with other than his own Dystopian Records. Over the past three years Rødhåd’s reputation has sky-rocketed, not only as an accomplished producer with five releases to his name, but as a big room DJ whose formidable presence behind the decks demands as much respect as DVS1 and German big guns Dettmann and Klock.

No longer a newcomer to the scene, Rødhåd is now a respected staple of European techno and his three-track Haumea single features an alternative Dirt version of the title-track mixed by the Dystopian co-founder, and a second remix by Token mainstay Ø [Phase]. Rødhåd’s return to Token provides the label with their penultimate record before the unveiling of their landmark 50th release, Aphelion, a CD and triple vinyl showcase of new and exclusive material from label regulars and like-minded artists whom Token founder Kr!z specifically commissioned for the deluxe release.

Rødhåd’s return succeeds Surgeon’s official debut on Token earlier this month with his Fixed Action Pattern 12”, which first bore news of the Aphelion compilation, and here Rødhåd provides a linear alternative to the distorted, industrial dub of Anthony Child’s Token missive. “Haumea” is a bleepy production that straddles the divide between the Detroit techno of Jeff Mills and newer European interpretations mixed with coarse hi-hats that cut straight through the mix. The B-side’s Dirt version provides a minimal alternative which strips the original’s murky low end, and as a result emphasis falls on lucid drum machine programming which exhume alien bleeps from the deep. For some extra heat Ø [Phase] brings the booming sound of his Frames Of Reference LP to Haumea with a chugging remake courteously titled ‘Satellite remix’ complimenting the theme of this spacey record.

Gimme A Break delve into new sonic territories through the first release on their sub-label Aspect, an outlet for Electro, Prog House, Trance and Techno. ASPCT001 sees Berlin-based LUZ1E navigate mental health and healing at the sonic intersection of Detroit, Chicago, New York and the UK. With previous releases on Voitax, International Chrome and Mechatronica, LUZ1E’s “Cerulean” EP cements her place as a pioneer of Electro retrofuturism. 

“Cerulean” takes its inspiration from the very hue that has ingrained itself as one of the symbolic images of LUZ1E’s work – a particular nuance of blue. It emanates a synchrony of sentiments: clarity, optimism, and calm, juxtaposed against the backdrop of detachment and despair that accompanied the artist throughout the past year.

Manifested in a dichotomy, the Ultramarine A-Side delves into the labyrinth of one's own mental health. It casts a luminescence upon a profound struggle marked by inner discord, turmoil, and the swift currents of overwhelm and emotional detachment. The tracks' fast pace and sombre energy pick up on this, translating phases of introspection and intense inner conflict into a sonorous narrative.

The Cerulean B-Side breathes the ambiance of a crystalline winter day, bathed in ease and tranquillity, constructing a bridge to an inward journey where in a quiet and soft space healing can take place. The tracks, suffused with both hope and melancholy, radiate a sense of peace, calm, and lucidity, contrasting the tumultuous phases of ebb and flow and the sensation of feeling lost. What persists is a mere feeling of peace with the perpetual motion of life itself.

• Выпустил “Raw Life” на Sc и Bc, хотел сделать что-то не совсем мрачное, но в связи с тем, что мне недавно попрыгали по голове, выпускаю бескомпромиссный мини-альбом, который погружает в жестокую реальность уличной жизни, не скрывая ни грязи, ни боли, ни борьбы. Каждый трек — это откровенный рассказ о выживании в условиях, где правят сила, а не мозги. 
Это музыка без прикрас: грязные, необработанные звуки и хлесткие рифы, которые режут как нож по стеклу. В нем нет места для фальши, нет места для пафоса — только сырая энергия и неутомимая решимость.
Понял, что мне не нравится прилизанные ритмы, которые сейчас в тренде, я больше не буду пытаться куда-то попасть или кому-то понравиться. В этом альбоме я расскажу про то, что меня действительно поражает и чем я вдохновляюсь весь свой творческий путь. 

• I released “Raw Life” on Sc and Bc, I wanted to do something not completely dark, but due to the fact that they jumped on my head recently , I am releasing an uncompromising mini-album that plunges into the cruel reality of street life, without hiding any dirt, pain, or struggle. Each track is a frank story about survival in conditions where power rules, not brains.
This is music without embellishment: dirty, raw sounds and biting riffs that cut like a knife on glass. There is no room for falsehood, no room for pathos - only raw energy and tireless determination.
I realized that I don’t like the sleek rhythms that are now in trend, I will no longer try to get somewhere or please someone. In this album I will talk about what really amazes me and what inspires me throughout my creative journey.
