From the first beat, the presence of voices guides us on a path of improvisation, exploring themes of unrequited love and deep dreams intertwined with experiences that celebrate life. The music becomes an introspective party that peaks at the end of the day and extends into the night.

Este mix de dos horas es la grabación de mi actuación en el escenario Lasai, el espacio dedicado al downtempo del festival BBK Live en Bilbao, España, durante su edición de 2024. En este set, quise reunir una amplia gama de mis influencias musicales, junto con muchos de mis temas favoritos. La primera mitad del set gira en torno a los 80 bpm, mientras que la segunda avanza hacia los 100 bpm, explorando una atmósfera que oscila entre la oscuridad, la contundencia y la mezcla de multitud de géneros, pero siempre con una fuerte presencia de lo emotivo y lo bello. Muchos momentos están cargados de contenido emocional, convirtiendo este set algo muy especial para mí. Fue un momento único no solo por actuar en un lugar al que tantas veces asistí como público desde que comencé a ir a festivales, sino también por contar con la presencia de mis padres viéndome por primera vez y con muchos grandes amigos a mi alrededor.

This two-hour mix is ​​recording my performance on the Lasai stage, the space dedicated to downtempo at the BBK Live festival in Bilbao, Spain, during its 2024 edition. In this set, I wanted to bring together a wide range of my musical influences, along with many of my favorite topics. The first half of the set revolves around 80 bpm, while the second moves towards 100 bpm, exploring an atmosphere that oscillates between darkness, forcefulness and a mixture of a multitude of genres, but always with a strong presence of the emotional and beautiful. Many moments are loaded with emotional content, making this set very special. It was a unique moment not only for performing in a place that I have attended so many times as an audience since I started going to festivals but also for having the presence of my parents seeing me for the first time and with many great friends around me.

And when it does happen—when things finally do "fall into place"—the moment is often quieter, more anticlimactic than we imagine. Not a triumphant crescendo, but a subtle, almost imperceptible shift. You look around and realize: Oh, is this it? Is this what I’ve been waiting for? The pieces are in place, but perhaps you’re not.

Andreas, who has been present since our very first party, is responsible for mix number 25 on Discos Movimiento. Titled "When Things Fall Into Place," the mix reflects his tendency to delve into electronic music's mental and sensory depths. Andreas creates a vortex where genres like ambient, deep psy, deep techno, psychedelia, trance, IDM, and bass converge. Through melancholic, textured, and hypnotic sounds, he captures the essence of the title: a harmony that emerges when everything falls into place. Inspired by the mystical landscapes of his native Scandinavia, the mix offers an immersive, meditative, and reflective experience that transports the listener to a space where the abstract and the tangible meet.

Diego Morales, aka Diegors, a musician, producer, and DJ from Santiago de Chile, takes the reins for the 26th mix of Discos Movimiento. Known for his stoned, jacking house sets infused with Latin American rhythms and Caribbean dub, his sound is like chaos finding fleeting moments of structure—a beat emerging from noise, only to slip away again. As co-founder of Discos Pato Carlos alongside Andrea and Alejandro Paz, Diegors channels this rhythmic tension into every project, hinting at something deeper within the seemingly random pulse of his music.

Emerging DJ and producer Cecilia Tosh has an innate talent for crafting immersive sonic narratives, where precision meets deep emotional resonance. A mainstay at institutions like Tresor, Tosh has honed her ability to build sleek, architecturally sound sets that pulse with life. For the 27th entry in the Discos Movimiento mixtape series, we present a special live recording from her performance at our recent collaboration with Cura Berlin and MUTEK MX.

This mix marks a rare occasion—Tosh’s first club mix release in years. It’s a vibrant journey through old-school psychedelia, Detroit groove, and deep techno, masterfully blended with her signature precision. The set captures her ability to steer a crowd through moments of hypnotic introspection and pure, unbridled energy, where the boundaries of genre blur into something wholly unique.

The sound of Dj Knife is elegant as well as vigorous, his speech is based on the key pillars of the finest dancefloor, in the syncopated structures of deep house, Detroit techno, disco and the endless prolific variants that emerge from those genres.

Both as a DJ and a producer, Patrick Gräser aka Answer Code Request has honed a hybrid musical approach that stands out in a world of uniform 4/4 techno. Melding pad-driven harmonies, intricate breaks and an industrial sonic palette, Gräser has occupied a unique space within the Ostgut Ton cosmos since debuting on the label in 2012 and becoming a Berghain resident shortly thereafter. His various releases and remixes for Ostgut Ton, MDR, Dolly Deluxe and Monkeytown Records continue to be highly sought after. As a DJ, he has taken his bass- and breaks-heavy techno to clubs and festivals around the globe, while remaining an integral part of the Berlin scene.

That’s probably what makes Kai Alce (pronounced al-SAY) such a force: He doesn’t settle down, blend in or go along. That integrity comes through in every gig he’s worked – from his early days at Detroit’s Music Institute when he was just teenager, to the 10-year-long DEEP legacy at MJQ that he co-founded, to the production company, NDATL, that he created in 2008.

Emerging from the beautiful cultural Oaxaca, Nico Borgio is a musical project which expresses its roots through heavy waves of eclectic House and Deep Techno rhythms. Being a true digger Nico constantly proves his passion and love for music through his dj sets and productions. This project is based on emotions, personality and original essence that was born from a Mexican background with the purpose of telling a story that can transcend into a new experience.

El proyecto musical ATEQ (Florian Lepa) está marcado por suaves y recurrentes ondas de bucles electrónicos perfectamente integrados entre sí mientras se arrastra hacia su clímax.

Siendo uno de los veteranos del sello Giegling, fundado por Weimar, sus 12 "y más contribuciones V / A fueron publicadas en la impronta del colectivo. Todo lo cual demuestra el sonido de ATEQ con motivos increíblemente profundos y potentes, manteniendo una esencia melancólica.

Diversos esfuerzos de colaboración han manifestado la habilidad de ATEQ para interponerse entre el house y el techno dentro de paisajes sonoros minimalistas. Además, un show en vivo reciente junto con el virtuosismo de percusión de Samuel Rohrer ha explorado los reinos del jazz y el ambiente de vanguardia.
