From over the hills and far away, the cobblers and their boots are here to stay. The sartorial scallywags return with another collection of kaleidoscopic, Italo-tinged party pleasers.
First off the block, London royalty Super Drama team up with homeboy Kayroy for ‘Something New’, a cut of propulsive glitterball synth-funk, with just the right amount of cowbell.
Next up, Italy’s Disco Mortale and Futuristant take us for a tour of the dark side, with cyborg vocoders and cyberpunk arpeggios painting a vivid dreamscape of neon and steel. ‘Until Forever’ flirts the line
between sinful and sincere, abandoning you to the rise of the machines, and a dance-off to the death!
Flip that wax and step on the gas because Gabto reunites with collaborator Kauan Marco for the colossally cool ‘Ki Ko Ho’. These brilliant Brazilians have delivered a bonafide gem, complete with drums that hit you in all the right places, and a killer synthesiser solo - brilliant stuff.
For the cherry on top, Marching Machines bring their intoxicating and hypnotic flavour of Belgian chug and psychedelic dark disco to the table with the festival-ready epic ‘Seraphic’ - molto bene! Beyond The Struttosphere is a sonic collaboration between two London-based DJs combining their considerable musical production experience with an insatiable passion for cosmic chugging dark disco.

The cosmonauts embark on their most ambitious journey yet with the release of ‘Odyssey-10’ on Emerald & Doreen records. True to its name, the lead track evokes an epic space voyage propelled by driving arpeggiators, chunky layered percussion, high-octane guitar hits and the signature BTS chug bassline.

The tune progresses into a tectonic breakdown heightened by
spacey Juno chords before launching into a dynamite crescendo that burns contrails through the atmosphere.

Remixes are provided by two bastions of the scene: Mexican dark wave star
Vongold introduces lustful celestial vocals into the mix, dialling down the tempo, and repurposing the track into a post-punk acid chugger that takes no prisoners. French dark disco connoisseur Badknife applies his masterful touch with a second remix, cranking up the throb and deploying interstellar synth arrangements that will have you reaching for your seatbelt.

The duo venture into uncharted territory with ‘Satellite Cities’, a collaboration with cosmic queen Miss Zagato. Undoubtedly their funkiest production to date, this galactic chugger is a hypnotic blend of funky guitar plucks, electrifying stabs and groovy riffs, underpinned by Miss Zagato’s intoxicating lyrics that transport you to the moon in a hypersonic X-15. Building in momentum and complexity, the track climaxes with a mesmerising vocal chorus, elevated by cosmic synth melodies and a resonating mid-range bass that will echo for aeons to come.

The original is backed by a sublime remix from Spanish electronic virtuoso, Ivan Fabra, whose take re-imagines the track as a pulsating Balearic dancefloor anthem loaded with powerful drums and ethereal pads that melt into the sunset.

The EP concludes with ‘Storming Heaven’, a sonically charged acid trip that adventures through the cosmos, guided by a weighty chugging bass, a psychedelic 303 line, tripped out guitar chords and an array of cosmic FX. The tune traverses two mystical breakdowns before ascending into stratospheric planes with a euphoric synth sequence and a staggering guitar solo courtesy of long-time BTS collaborator Stannard Procedure. Logia Records is proud to present a great release from their friends the Roswell Brothers, a duo originating from the rich cultural lands of Mexico and Chile, who have made a space for themselves within the underground Rock and Trance scenes. Owners of a great discography, they present a track with the voice of Sunset Amanda and the collaboration of Pablo Ramírez Durón on harmonica.

A collaboration between Greco-German duo Local Suicide, and Argentinian Panko brings this sexy and dark single that mixes both worlds, with some Latin percussions, a groovy baseline, and Spanish vocals. The feeling on it evokes the sensation of stepping into a club, where the euphoric, sensual energy of the dance floor envelops you in ecstasy and the night's journey, intoxicated by the music, surrendering to the urge to dance without inhibition or the need for words.

Greco-German Vamparela and Brax Moody of unstoppable DJ and producer duo and couple Local Suicide do not believe in half measures for their music. In addition to maintaining careers in the music industry, and pu ing on some of the most infamous underground parties Berlin has to offer, these two are still finding time to make waves with their productions and drive live audiences into a frenzy not just in their chosen hometown of Berlin but across all four corners of the world. For release number 045, Luv Shack Records brings together two long time contributors Jakobin and ROTCIV for a split EP thats brimming with references to early 90s electronica.
Jakobin lays the foundation with the bubbly, trance infused „Drawan“, follows up with the spooky, upbeat electro of „Skulpt“, and finishes off with „Octagonial Tribe“, a track that oscillates between laid back melodies and squelchy acid sequences.
On the flip-side, ROTCIV showcases his signature style of industrial new beat madness: „Frenesy“ marries breakbeats with syncopated synthesizer sequences, „No More Room in Hell“ sound like a late 80s Italo Disco instrumental on steroids, while „The Confidence“ opts for broken beats and ethereal FM-flutes.
