Blue Swarm

Time was no longer on his side; the realisation had firmly hit home. Things that he'd once done with ease now felt like an effort, days that had seemed endless now passed by in the blink of an eye. While for some this may have caused anxiety and despair, he didn't mind all that much. It gave him a strange sense of satisfaction; it was time to slow down and change the pace. 

Next up in Lyon-based imprint Hard Fist's busy schedule is a collaborative EP from two key figures in Mexico's underground electronic scene: Thomass Jackson and Theus Mago. Separately the pair, who run Calypso Records and Duro respectively, have made a global impact with releases for the likes of Correspondant, Futureboogie, Multi Culti and many more. Recorded both together and remotely, due to the pandemic, and fuelled by intense FIFA sessions, the four tracks on El Venao capture their signature flare for tripped-out ritualistic club sounds, and come complete with a rerub from Ana Helder.

"Endless Sunday" results from the collaboration of Nomenklatür and vocalist Odge, which follows their acclaimed EP "When the Winds Blows", released on Clivage Music in October 2021.
The track embarks us on a journey from Monday to the Endless Sunday, a story told by Ogde and paced by the beats and bass lines that the French duo Nomenklatür are known for.

The EP "Endless Sunday" also features the dark electro tune "Explain to Me", a track as enigmatic as the blend of EBM, techno and electro-pop that the 2005-established duo Nomenklatür are able to produced.

Remixes by Krasnodar-based artist Volta Cab, aka Rambal Cochet completes the 4-track EP, out on the 18th of November.

The fourth chapter of the Kri discography was conceived in the cold northern parts of Europe by a well-seasoned electro producer and Gravitational Waves label owner, Dj Nephil aka System Disorder.

Sharp electro-minimalism on the Horizon Rising EP is ranging from hypnotic and subtle to a punkish kick in the arse. Lush textures, bitter-sweet acid, and thick bass lines are looking past trends to create a lasting record. Adding extra weight to this polar electro voyage are remixes by two among our favorite producers, Alonzo and Univac. Univac's remix is available as a digital exclusive.

From the complexity of the opening piece, “Un Si Long Chemin”, to the exasperation of the closing act, “Antiphore”, the “Swarm” excites those in search of a different kind of sonority, far away from the ready-made and predictable Top-100 Charts out there.

For the powerful “HII Forest”, Äitee came up with a menacing and eerie atmosphere triggered by an unyielding ghostly layer and metallic percussive elements resulting in a psychedelic and trippy experience enhanced if you dare dance to it at a packed and sweaty dance floor with the eyes closed.
