Born and raised on planet Earth, Ambear lands on Logia Records with 'Zaebic' EP. The DJ / Producer who recently releases on Diynamic, brings an EP where he translates his ideas into the music inspired by 70's synthesizers and science fiction.
This release is completed by the participation of Yerno Vil, Argentine producer and member of the La Plata label Modula, now based in Madrid, and another great remix of Cu Da Curuxa from the Logia headquarters.

Gathering like-minded artists for a party: Easy-peasy picnic cakewalk task. Gathering like-minded artists for a compilation: Uphill-battle ordeal-like burdensome mission. Well, the rising & shining Swedish powerhouse Club Mackan did it... again! The second parcel of its “A Retro Futuristic Collage” series brought together seventeen talented producers and delivered one of the best VAs of the year so far. On board, old & new faces from the Indie Dance realm such as Marcus Christiansen, the label Prime Minister himself, Mundo D, Osccurate, Pianopoli, Karl Draum, TDWS, SLTBQ, Elysian Underground, Jo Kazan, Dog.ma, Beni Geier, and Miss Zagato, just to name a few, came up with some proper retro-cosmic-infused material for the occasion. 

The track premiered here marks USA-based TDWS’s very first appearance on Mackan. With previous works issued on Girlfriend Records and Sinchi, the promising American virtuoso aims the peak time with his frenzied fast-paced and upbeat themes. His 136-BPM “Tear”, for instance, presents itself dressed to impress with an imposing attitude tailored to please even the most hardcore fans of Trance out there. Frolic synth layers and progressive leads set the tone and result in one of the finest pieces of the batch.

It’s been approximately one year since our first retro futuristic compilation was released, and as we’ve moved further into the future, it appears we’ve come closer to the 90s, if not even ventured a tiny bit into the 00s. We might even be in the present, if not even the future. Somehow, with one foot still in the 80s. 

As our universes collide, it’s hard to tell what is what. Whether you think this is a futuristic take on Eurodance with an 80s twist, Italo Body or Trance, that is totally up to you. You might even throw in a few other musical universes too. Is it EBM, Dark Disco or Indie Dance? We don’t know and we don’t judge you for deciding.

After introducing himself in our last compilation RETROFUTUR, Levantine deploys his first EP for the owl.

"Interdimensional Love Triangle" is a powerful cosmic italo track with a tense acid touch. In the distance stretches a melancholy melody.

In the same vein as the eponymous track, "Fever" is definitively badass ! Percussive rhythm, cosmic melody and poignant synth are the main ingredients of this dancefloor track.

"Ecstasy & Desperation" is a slightly more sensitive title but still very danceable. The bass and synth match perfectly. The atmosphere is highlighted with a spatial melody and some carrying pads.

Our favorite Berlin-based Austrian My Secret Playground is back. Once again delivering a sensational remix, he perfectly mixes his Disco origins and electronic music, while respecting Levantine's original music. Cosmic and lyrical !

To close the release, welcome to the talentuous David Garcet. The Belgian born artist gives a nostalgic and futuristic breaky reinterpretation of "Ecstasy & Desperation". Dark, captivating, fiery !

Alejandro Gamba is the mastermind behind the Cosmosolar project. The veteran Argentinian producer, whose first endeavours in the underground electronic music realm commenced more than twenty years ago, successfully manages to bring together the many influences he has amassed during such a spell in order to deliver his vision of dance-floor-oriented underground electronic music. EBM, New Wave, Post-Punk, Techno, Trance, and House come together and give birth to an interesting concoction issued on vital Indie Dance/Dark Disco platforms such as Phisica, Logia, Maleante, NEIN, Discos Prohibidos, Modula, and Espacio Cielo, just to name a few. He is now back on the latter with the “Immaginazione” EP featuring two fresh originals and their respective reinterpretations made with love by master Parissior (SXDNS206) and promising Size M.

With a discography still in the dawn of its trajectory, Size M debuts on the Spanish powerhouse with an intelligent take on “Misterio En La Disco”. Aiming the peak time, he managed to keep most of the main elements of the solid original in his rework, including the frolic gait, and paved the way to the injection of more stamina by spicing things up with the increase of the BPM from 120 to 125. The addition of extra arpeggios, synth layers, and speech-like vocals resulted in a proper showcase of his capabilities and inventiveness. Let’s keep an eye on the lad, shall we?

Nothing Is Real landed for the 28th release with “Disco Knife” by Sugar Rody. Co-founder of the mighty Dark Disko night in Tallin, he delivered a post-punk synth-wave 5 tracks EP, which includes two amazing remixes by the label friends Mufti and Gunce Aci.

‘Disco Knife’ captures the attention with the main synth, that followed by the vocal from the iconic duo Local Suicide, gently drives the composition hugging the dark and distorted guitar solo melody.

The second track ‘Jean Claude’ with his psychedelic guitar and leads, It transports the listeners in a cosmic journey. This is a truly original and mesmerizingly piece of Dark Wave music. The Mexican master Mufti did a remix treatment to this track, giving a special night driver twist with his unique new wave fingerprint.

The third track ‘On The Run’ has an Italo-disco soul, composed by rolling bassline and synth pop melodies.

Finishing off the release is the remix by the Turkish artist based in Istanbul Gunce Aci, which makes a fantastic disco-dub version of the main track ‘Disco Knife’, delivering a pure energetic bliss for every body-mover on the dancefloor.
